But that just shows that it's a bad mechanic. Somehow supply is not limited by the amount of trains you can send to the frontline but by the amount of supply hubs near the frontline. As in two train stations next to each other give you twice the amount of supply. That's weird.Hubs are expensive exactly for balance reasons, not realism. If they were cheap you’d just build them all over the place and the whole mechanic becomes irrelevant.
If supplies were something that needed to be produced by your mils or civs, they’d take a substantial fraction of your total industrial capacity. Hubs do the same, in their own way.
