I will be a total bitch in Poland.
I suggest that the kingdom of Prussia is triggered as per a rule, not if they control a certain province or not.
Also, i do suggest that Poland should stick to Latin tech for varius reasons. But mostly for Historical accuracy and balance. I would even go so far that the whole Polish-Lithunian union event thingy should be slept from start.

Nah, Bavaria weaken Austria too much versus France. The palatinat is a much, much better option.Mulliman said:
To be frank, it depends on alot of factors. If France starts out strong, the Palatinate might be in too a forward position and could be forced to take on too much of its strength. Likewise, Bavaria blocks off alot of Germany, true, but if Austria gains access to Italy (depending on lots of other factors) that wont matter much.Fredrik82 said:

I feel your pain, but as a newbie you sort of have to prove yourself. Also, please note that with the new map Bavaria or Palatinat aren't that bad to play as in vanilla.
Look at the bright side: if you show up and prove to be a reliable player, you will get to play bigger countries sooner or later. One of my players will quit sooner or later and you could then take his country

I disagree, a well played Persia will give the Europeans some resistance for the CoTs in India and also prevents an Ottoman Empire from going east and ignoring other humans for 150 years (as nearly happened in DbD where we did not have a persia).
