New Sprite packs and music?

I would like to see a new sprite pack for México. Historically it was a country that in the Victorian time frame participate in some important scenarios: Texas war of independence, Mexican American War, French Intervention, Mexican Revolution and it could intervene in a Great North American war in the so called "Intentona de Barrios" (Mexican intervention in Guatemala and US mobilization) and in World War I at the Central Powers side. And in the game is a country with such a good position to became a Great Power and so many fun possibilities, it could worth a sprite pack.

1. For 1836 the Mexican Army was known for his fancy and napoleonic type uniforms. Some Examples:

Mexican Infantry.

Mexican Infantry.

Grenadiers of the Supreme Powers: Mexican Guard.

Mexican Cavalry.

2. From the next tier of the game this could be also good uniforms.

Mexican Army Uniform 1913

Mexican Tank: Salinas Tank.

3. Interwar Sprites:

Nice Pictures! I agree. We need a new Sprite pack for Mexico. I would like to see a new Sprites for The United states of Central America/Federal Republic of Central America, Colombia, Venezuela, Ecuador, Brazil, Chile, Argentina, Egypt, Greece, Korea, and Persia.

Pretty sure I read somewhere that the sprite packs we were getting would be one that covers Prussia/Germany from start to WWI and one for Interwar Engineers. The first one sounds awesome, the second somewhat unnecessary (rare to see engies by themselves, after all) - not that I mind, but I'm still holding out for new sprites for Russia, and please something that's not a samurai for Japan.

Edit: Frankly I'm surprised that the UK isn't getting more sprite love - it is Victoria 2 after all... :glare:

More importantly; does anyone have info on the released packs will come on Steam?

But besides that; I think they should create a British spritepack next. They're arguably the most powerful nation for the duration of the game and I would like to see a re-make of their "ugly" redcoats when I see them running around in India and Africa

Agreed, but it doesn't seem like Victoria II gets much love when it comes to sprites :| which sucks cause games like HoI3 get a lot more but they usually don't even see them anyways..

Exactly; and Victorian uniforms were much more "pronounced" and fashionable compared to HoI III (WW2-era) uniforms.

And that's why I'm pushing so hard for new sprites! I have all of the sprites for HOI3 but never use them. Although in Vic 2 you don't have a choice, but I love that. The sprites really add to the game. I'm sick of seeing the same uniforms for Mexico, Colombia, Venezuela, Brazil, Greece, to Portugal, Belgium, and The Netherlands. Mexico has the same uniforms as Portugal, Belgium, and The Netherlands? Even Russia uniforms are really bland!

I really didn't care about sprites for HOI3. I have them all but never used them. Now as for Vic2 I love them!

I talked to Rost3DSprites and he said he had no idea when they are going to go live on Steam due to the fact that it's up to Paradox and Steam.

It's a good thing Paradox started developping their own OS X ports with Crusader Kings II. Now Mac users can buy and download DLCs which is not the case with Victoria II.
