New Sprite packs and music?

I know, I just put them in there for the hell of it! It's kinda sad to never see these country, but it would be nice to see!
I'd be fine with new music especially because while I have a soft spot for Vikys version British grenadiers its just silly to hear it playing as the Ottomans or Japan
I'm looking forward to the next Vicky game, where, like in CK2, I imagine the music will match the region you're playing as... New music would be nice, and I'd probably get it, but I end up playing my own soundtrack to it anyway.
Yea New music is needed really bad. I haven't heard any thing tho. I don't even know who does the music. Also one way to add more music is to use Vic 1 music!
Agreed! "Here's a list of nations that I think could use some new sprites.
Great Britain, France, Spain, Portugal, Belgium, The Netherlands, Germany/Prussia, Austria, Italy, Sweden, Switzerland, Russia, The Ottoman Empire, USA, Mexico, China/The Chinese Empire, and Japan.
Other suggestions.
The United states of Central America/Federal Republic of Central America, Colombia, Venezuela, Ecuador, Brazil, Chile, Argentina, Egypt, Greece, Korea, and Persia.
Other formable countries.
Yugoslavia, Romania, Hungary, Czechoslovakia, Australia, and Canada. Also Poland?*"
Please for the love of god! Add new Tank sprites!!!!!!
Something I'd like to see are replacements for the default color-coded sprites, like they did for EUIII with some of their sprite packs. It's mildly frustrating to see these really high quality DLC sprites on the same screen as those... proto sprites (though I do agree that country-specific is really the best end goal).

Agreed! I would like to see updated default sprites for all regions and for civilized and noncivilized countries!
I'd prefer Highlanders myself, thinking of the Thin Red Line... just as long as I don't see them walking about in the Twentieth Century.
Yeah and they could do something with the Zulu sprites when they research guns and infantry.
Maybe this is bit off section but you have to excuse me. I would like to buy all 4 of the sprite pack but i need to know is it compatible with A House Divided and the upcoming Heart of Darkness? This is because i bought couple of sprites, and some other minor content for HoI and EUIII but not all of them work with mods and newer expansion pack.
No Problem. Yes, Every single sprite pack is compatible with A House Divided! As for Heart of Darkness, I would say most likely yes!
After talking with Rost3DSprites there maybe some tank sprites planed for later on down the road.
The vast majority of people want sprites much more than music. One can just add his own music, anyway, so no use for that. Sprites, on the other hand....
Is it possible to mod the game such that, say, Canada can use the nice interwar British sprites? Maybe not strictly on-topic, but I've always wondered. I feel like one or two of the new sprites can be plausibly used elsewhere.
edit: and I realize this is purely cosmetic, but how would it be if they had one or two country/region specific interface skins, a la CK2's DLCs, maybe ones that you activate like a mod in the opening menu... I don't know, just a thought. I always think that, yeah, while gameplay changes are more significant, visual changes can be very refreshing, especially after circa 500 hours in-game.
edit2: so... how are those sprites coming along? any chance at another sneak-peek :happy: (couldn't resist)

If 80% of people want sprites, why make 100% of the DLC sprite DLCs? shouldn't about 80% of the DLCs be sprites? For those of us like myself that could care less if our units are logos like in DH, or, just the word "UNIT" in a coloured circle, we would like a DLC too.
Also, if there is a DLC that simplifies the sprites, I'd download that.
