Note I have all 4 Sprite packs for Victoria 2. This thread may not apply to those who may not have all four Sprite packs.
So with Hearts of Darkness Expansion Pack coming out does that mean we can expect some new Sprite packs and music DLC's?
I as for one don't usually use sprites. In Hearts of Iron 3 I have every single Sprite pack but I usually don't use them. As for Victoria 2 I have come to love the sprites. Although I do have to say there isn't enough variety. From what I can say is that most of the sprites of Europe are very bland. Same with the rest the world.
Great Powers:
Minor Nations:
There is some minor detail differences between only a couple of nations. Although Japan looks very nice.
For almost 70 years, sprites of the world look extremely the same and very bland. Mexico soldiers look no different from Switzerland, Belgium, The Netherlands, Portugal, and many others. It's not until around the 1900s that we start to see new uniforms. This is for the World War I or also known as the great war era.
It would be nice with the new expansion pack to get some new Sprite packs. I would like to see Sprite packs for not only Great Powers but also Minor Nations too.
Here's a list of nations that I think could use some new sprites.
Great Britain, France, Spain, Portugal, Belgium, The Netherlands, Germany/Prussia, Austria, Italy, Sweden, Switzerland, Russia, The Ottoman Empire, USA, Mexico, China/The Chinese Empire, and Japan.
Other suggestions.
The United states of Central America/Federal Republic of Central America, Colombia, Venezuela, Ecuador, Brazil, Chile, Argentina, Egypt, Greece, Korea, and Persia.
Other formable countries.
Yugoslavia, Romania, Hungary, Czechoslovakia, Australia, and Canada.
Also what about some new music?
For Crusader Kings II there are 7 song DLC's. Can Victoria 2 get some love? I think Victoria 2 has some of the best music so far some of the Paradox Interactive games I have played. Although after 100 hours of play the music kinda gets old.
