The most interesting thing about these screenies was the one where in the setup they choose which map they are going to play. The graphics I don't care about but I guess it's fine... I hope it's not to good though so that we can't create alternative variants with customer made maps.

I hope so as in stills they are ugly IMO. Not that I would care about the graphics, but I assume that the shift to 3D was intended to have some benefits.

I wonder how it would look if say there were three supported attacks on one province? For example:
Russian Army Silesia to Warsaw supported by Russian Army Moscow
German Army Ukraine to Warsaw supported by German Army Prussia
Austrian Army Livonia to Warsaw supported by Austrian Army Galicia

Obviously this is highly improbable, but some of the arrows would have to cross over (or under or through) some of the others. I guess I'll see when I get it.

Nice...looks quite familiar to the old EU/Diplomacy player, and overall it looks like an efficient and functional map and interface...but it's not that easy to say anything definite from screenshots alone of course...
