Thursay night is abyss night. Im not particularly inclined to giove up abyss for the other game but will follow se and mighty, so depends what they want.

I know i hate night hijackings too, but we havnt played this in over 2weeks and we have had 2 decent long session of Abyss on off nights.
Of course i am not the be all and end, so if everyone isnt ready at 7 on the dot then i guess we play our Abyss game.

Early Axis advances in finland force Russia's hand.
Soviet command decided to stick with what worked last campaign season and creat verdun style meat-grinders at Konigsberg & around Kiev. Konigsburg falls, Kiev hangs by a thread.
Huge soviet mp losses (but plenty in reserve) has high command confident that German mp must be in a dysmal state. 4 more Verduns are planned for the Axis, the provinces are already marked out.
Poor Italy fights well but for how long can it hold? How goes its mp? Perhaps it should make overtures to the commintern for peace and remain a free state whilst it still can.
Can germany reinforce, can it make the majical breakthrough it so earnestly seeks, dare it thrust forces through anywhere???

99 Italian Sailors on a ship, 99 Italian Sailors. Over flys Japanese naval bomber command, then there's 99 Italian sailors on life rafts...
The Casucus has been stalemated against the would be Fascist invaders. Now more and more Imperial forces flood into the Casucus daily to increase the numbers before our final push to victory. Japanese naval bomber command sighted Regia Marina in the med and sunk atleast 1 Italian heavy cruiser beleived to be the RM Pola. The Italian navy quickly ran to safety in more distant ports. Italian naval bombers were also intercepted and shredded in the Persian Gulf before they too ran to safety in distant airfeilds. Now with the IJ - AF in complete control over the skies all around the middle east, the question remains. Were do the Imperial Communist forces strike at the overstretched and battered Axis armies next...

Well after 3 years of fighting , german and its allies are hold a very thin line , with russia troop ever hold some of germany home land. The last 3 months have seen some very big losse of troops from both sides , But with new equipment and Tanks rolling out into the field. Germany and its minors now working as a team the playing field is about to turn .With news of japan ships lost and new front around the world opening up , some of the old front lines might start to get a little less of a biuld up .
i will be around sunday ....hope we can play

Sad news from the pacific but a momentary setback for our just cause.
Stavka is interesed in rports from the front line that Axis forces fail to press home any advantage and attack only to support the defence. Axis divisions fighting at 80, 70 and even 60 percent strength. Stavka had expected the Wehrmacht to withdraw to a shortened front on the river line with Poland, dig in, preserve mp and develop wonder weapons but it seems Hitler has given an order to fiht to the last man, Soviet armies will oblige him.
Last soviet divisions about to upgrade to 43 inf and tanks with several months campaigning season left. Stalin orders a 400 div offensive to be prepared. german mp will be shattered this year! the invaders must be driven off.
The axis knows whats coming.
Ill be on tonight between about 7 - 7:30 qld time.
