well, thats another weird change. If rebels win, not only the occupied provinces are involved in the result, the entire country, all the cores or the entire involved culture region, go independant or flip to another country.
OP? I saw Valycia spawn eating half of lithuania away, since AI was literally a month too late to clean the rebels. In ONE province. All because i kept their stacks busy.
This makes for very sneaky tactics, versus allies *and* enemies. You can trick an ally into NOT killing their rebels if you let them attach during a war. Release Byzantium right before otto war, block the strait, sink fleet, and entire Byzantium will flip to you eventually. Persia is also good example.
And then i'm not even talking about support rebel wars.
I wonder, if i take ONE shan province and then declare a support shan rebel war, will all their provinces flip to me without ever making peace? In peace deal, take a zhou core for minimal ae.
Rinse repeat.
Same for Sweden core from denmark after they integrated them etc etc..... I should really try it out. Sounds like easiest way to expand without AE or revolt risk.
Can it be done like this? If so well.. Disturbing change.
