On the picture he wears Knight's Cross that he never received. Simple Iron Cross was never worn around neck. A principal mistake by artist in anyone's eyes who knows just a bit about German military awards.

I like the "plus" buttons. Looks like you could do the politically correct thing and create an industry and provide jobs to people. Pretty slick!
yeah, the artist has gone a tad overboard here
It looks to be pretty much a straight-up copy of the painting underneath (i spoilertagged it as its quite large), then just adding on a knights cross "for effect", changed his army grey woolen coat to a black leather coat (same with the cap), and generally made it more "menacing".. think SS or Gestapo instead of regular army.
I've looked at a bunch of Hitler pics now (not my favorite past-time...lol), and he is not wearing one in any of them, he is wearing a shirt and tie, with his iron cross on his breast pocket, where it belongs.

That looks pretty grey to me. It is the terrain showing through that muddies it up.
not really. Germany is clearly olive drab. most likely the same RGB color as the FRG in HOI 3- { 104 153 126 }
It looks like there is at least room for 4 parties in the box and it would make countries like France, the UK and US grossly over-simplified. Most likely, the three party system is more a matter of "the NSDAP is the only legal party, but these other two exist and do have supporters which could overthrow you." or some such.
Two things.

Remember, this is a (pre-)alpha screenshot, so I expect the current 3 parties to be nothing more than placeholders.
I suppose the latter. It is said (propaganda) that World War I was lost due to the Social Democrats backstabbing the soldiers/politicians (-> Dolchstoßlegende)
Why would it be? Who defines that?
Probably there are 3 parties because those were the 3 most important and influential parties in Germany at the time. I expect that nations exist where there are more parties, maybe devs could confirm?
I hope they change the "Fascistic" parties to grey/black like hoi3 from that hideous brown.

This is good news! I loved the tech teams in HOI2, glad to see them back. Although how they work as a gameplay mechanic is yet unknown, I would quess that they work something in the line of:
- They give bonuses to specific tech research
- Plus sign would suggest that:
-- There is a pool to choose from
-- There must be some (nation/government/economy specific?) limit on how many companies you can choose
- Do they also give production bonuses?
- Status
