New Player Question -- Victoria

Hey all,

I just bought Victoria online, as a dual-pack with the Revolutions with it, all for $10.35. Does this seem like a good deal?

Also, since I doubt this comes patched, does anyone know what the current version is?

Finally, do I have to download all the patches before the most current one, or are all the changes in the most current?

you already have the most up to date one if you got it off gamersgate, and yeah thats a great deal, its an incredible game

Ah...minor issue, though. Did NOT download off of GamersGate, bought it online via Amazon.com seller.

if you have a hard copy with disc you should be all set. All you'll need are the hotfixes for Revolutions (see my sig) that fixes problems with some of the moddable files since the release of Revolutions.

to be absolutely sure, load game and look in the top right of the screen where you choose singleplayer/multiplayer, it should say in small red letters "Victoria 2.01" (or part of that phrase depending on your screen resolution.

jdrou pointed out a while ago that installing the 1.4 patch prior to your Revolutions installation was a waste of time.
