I wonder when are we gonna see the Soviets? It's been always either Germans or Allies.
I don't see a problem with the map, besides that that the Belgian coast looks too small.
The map needs a bit of work, and NO mods should not be responsible for these fixes, it is obvious that Denmark is a bit slanted, the Netherlands are too big, Austria and Yugoslavia shouldn't be the same color, along with Poland and Latvia.

This post is not an excuse! Its about provinces shape and not general map and country borders. Maybe we can not have some cities and small provs with their realistic shape but countries? Its a large difference.
Another thing - the Czachoslovakian Flag above Benes looks also terrible...
The problem is that Johan himself quoted this post twice during similar discussions...
And I can understand why the Low Countries and Cyprus look how they look in HOI3 because of the engine.
However I do agree that Latvia and Romania/Bulgaria also look a bit weird, but I don't know how every single border province looks there. So it's hard to tell if a design error or a limitation by the engine was the reason.
