There was another patch, around 6 MB after that one for Warband (which is about the same size of the games .exe) not sure if they reverted back the main exe (what some mod players did manually already to continue playing their older mods; even tho it is also possible and sufficient to just edit the module.ini).

For the second patch there was no changelog posted. But as far as comments go on the various forums those two patches seem to be an half assed backport of a few things from fire and sword (apparently the second one fixing up a bit of the first) at least that's how it's perceived. Partly due to a lack of communication, things like "new sound system is redone, and working fine under both old and new versions" wtf, that doesn't tell anyone anything, while it sounds interesting and like of value it's basically wasted an unexplained to the community of players and also mod makers. Mod Makers like the main guy from crpg were not amused, some are even rumored to work around that new patch (they don't know much about it but what they know apparently isn't good at all), so a fragmentation of the Warband community can't be good for the cause of us gamers who enjoy the medieval setting, neither for Paradox nor Taleworlds.

Could anyone of the devs post some insights? Maybe details on what the second patch did and what the plan is for good ol warband?

I mean after all Warband is still prefered by a lot Mount and Blade entusiasts, not only but also the whole crpg community, who don't seem much interested in with fire and sword and also lot's of mod-devs not touching anyhing else.

I certainly appreciate that Warband was(is?) worked on (as it really still should be because ppl love it and Paradox/ taleworlds can build upon it) BUT, please don't just do it half-assed, the community will remember these things.
