Let me start by saying how much I LOVE Yogi's NWO events. They are bursting with delicious flavor and I look forward to them getting even better over time. I hope Yogi rewrites the entire diplomatic engine eventually.

And N!ghty, you'll never know how much happiness Stony has brought to my life. Thank you.

Two major problems I've run into, though, playing as Germany:

1) After forcing a Russian Surrender on the Ribbentrop-Schulenberg path, I turned my sights to UK and Seelöwe. But as soon as my marines captured Coventry, Russia declared war in response! And now all my forces had been kicked back into the SR pool. Barbarossa all over again?! It doesn't make sense.

2) And shortly thereafter I crushed UK, of course, prompting New Order West, which I happily accepted. And then, two days later, UK and friends declared war all over again! Once again, my army which had been occupying UK was kicked back to the SR pool - and for what? What the heck? I thought we had a deal.

So New Order is great but what's with these knee-jerk DOWs from recently humiliated great powers? It seems like these conquered countries should be prevented from declaring war for at least a year. Please let me know your thoughts, or if this is WAD, or what...

Thanks!
Ferdinand

Hmm, OK. That's considerably tougher, but we all downloaded Stony for a challenge after all. Thanks, MuaDib.

But when you invade England Soviet Union gets the event "Germany invades England" in most cases this leads to the Soviet Union declaring war on you. Which makes everything a pain in the ass.

That's why you play SR, isn't it? You like taking it up...
