why isnt there any options at the start any more over what events we want to use? are they on automatically?

Well, once your events are in C.O.R.E. they will be more applicable, which really needs them by the way. I'm already thinking of ways to get things implemented. Basically, all countries that you and I created as puppets, Italy would get a claim on.

all that would need to be done is that if my events have already triggered, yours wouldn't. Concerning Italy that is :)

P.S. It's been ages since I played as Germany and they were the whole reason I got into HoI. I just for some reason fell in love with Italy. The warfare is so different because of the Islands, yet not as crazy as Japan! And you get more options than Germany (i.e. you don't have to go to war!). Maybe I should give them another round.

My friend, you have spotted a bug! Originally, Flanders was U00, but was later changed to U03 to conform with some other mods. It should of course be U03 in both cases. Will be fixed, of course.

There never was such an option in New Order. That was added in Stony Road by N!ghty.

However, you can turn down implementing New Order West (choose option B).

ID conflict on startup

I have had some reports on Id conflicts upon startup.

One possible explanation for this is if the "Advent of Marshall Antonescu" event, it was previously located in the romania.txt event file but has now been moved to new_order_misc.txt. There is no new Romania.txt file in New Order, so the old file will not be overwritten.

FIX: Check the romania.txt file and if the Antonescu event is still there, delete it.

Yogi this doesn't work at all everytime I load it, it crashes :( when I load the 1941 scenario it just goes out into windows and when I load the other scenarios an error message comes up. I cut the Marshel Antonescu event out of the misc events but still it doesn't run any ideas :confused:

OK, sounds weird.

New Order v4.0 should work with HOI v1.05b. I am currently testing it with Techmod v5 and it doesn't crash.

It is however NOT compatible with CORE or any other mod that includes events changes.

If that is not the case, then I have no idea what might be the problem. Do you get any error message when you crash?

Database Mismatch

Yogi I get a Database mismatch error and this is with 1.05b with just the prop packs and picture packs. It still crashes....

Ok the error message is Database mismatch as stated above I choose to ignore it then the game works when I surrender it crashes also the 1941 scenario doesn't load it just crashes I just re installed everything and it still happens what can I do :confused: I love the new order events but its not working :(

There doesn't seem to be any difference between the New Order for Norway and Grant them Indepence. Is it supposed to be like that?

According to the events file Norway should be made a puppet, but that doesn't happen. Anybody else that's noticed this?

Bug: Revolt.txt still uses U00 for Flanders... Flanders, therefore, will never show up...


Also, the independence events seem to not be actually creating puppets... Looking at Paradox events it would seem that this must be done in a seperate event.... What a pain in the ass...

I'll try to quickly code these up and post 'em...

Are the prerequisites for the Bitter Peace event changed in this mod? The USSR has zero victory points left, but still no event... Has it something to do with the occupation choices done at the beginning of the Barbarossa campaign?
