hello... can new nations be created during game play? or only the nations that begin from the start?

I think some have suggested this before. Yannelis for exaomple created Greece as a revolting country in the game. But I htink new countries can creat themselves by revolt.

In englnad for example the royalists appeared in someones game.

But I thought it was possible that provinces could become independant countres if revolt was not stopped?

There are some countries that are not present at the start of the game, but that can come into existence through the successful revolt of certain provinces. For example, Sicily, Ireland, Sardinia, the United States, and Provence are all potential countries. Also, in scenarios after 1492, some of the countries that existed in 1492 have disappeared, but can return through revolt. And of course the Netherlands comes into existence through revolt in most Grand Campaigns.

In the 'Improved Grand Campaign 1.2' Doomie and me have added Novgorod and Greece as new possible revolters. It´s the scenario Yannelis used for his Greece AAR btw.
