EU3 music was simply awe-inspiring.

EU4 is just okay. Not really catchy or memorable. I for one don't really remember any tune (well, except maybe that reworked EU3 theme) despite playing two full games so far.

So. We need music packs. Has there been any PDS plans revealed about it?

Actually it's a perfect solution, one that caters to everyone's taste.

I have a lot of Paradox music playing in the background.
CK1, CK2, Vic1, Vic2, EU3, EU4, MotE, etc.
And the Music packs from VIET and Dorimi.
Thats quite a few tracks ^^ (but playing so much EU4 makes it redundant nonetheless xD

it is likely a new music pack will be available with the 'conquest of paradise' expansion .. (with ck2 music packs became available with the expansions).

I believe EUIV has the same capability for modifier-based music frequencies - that is, you can make it so that the game plays different tracks at different frequencies based off of in-game features, such as date, or what country you're playing as.

In theory, you could use this to create a personal music mod that follows the EU2 pattern of playing specific music for each century (or even just copy the EU2 soundtrack entirely), or play Ottoman classical music when you play as the Ottomans, etc.

The only problem that I can see is if the .txt file for music modifers can't take into account certain parameters such as year or culture/country, though I'm sure the latter will definitely be available at least later on, as I strongly suspect that we'll begin to see culture-specific music packs with each expansion, as is the case with CKII.

I have tested it for M&T, it definitely does take in to account culture_group at least.
