The purpose of this MP mod is to play medium sized muslim countries and to make them bigger and to try to defend the true faith

it is always boring to play the ottoman in MP : you can't have any royal marriage to watch the wars all over the world

The possible countries :
Morocco (Northern Africa)
Oman (Arabia/ Iraq)
Ak Kyunku (will expand in Turkey/Iraq)
Delhi (India/Iran)
Uzbehk Khaganate
mallaca
Nubia (muslim)
all of them may may meet in Iran, so it will easy to make wars between players

all have orthodox techgroup and many cores

Consequently :
cores have been added for every countries so that they can attack freely their neighbourgs
Delhi and Ak koyku income have been reduced and others were improved : income should now be quite fairly distributed

Ottoman Empire should not become too powerfull : Bysance is now much powerfull and may try to hamper muslims

now Sunni religion makes you get 2 diplo, 2colon, 1 missionary per year

RULES
CB needed for wars
BB should be less than 15
players can't have a province in europe (exepted Balkan, Russia and islands or provinces that were in history once muslim)
only 3 provinces per war (colonial cities 1/2, colonies 1/4 TP 1/8)
no province exchange are allowed
map exchange are allowed between muslims and exotic
no colonisation of America is allowed

-for every successful conversion 500d will be granted (or only 250d if this is owner's culture)
-once per session a Djihad may occur : the GM choose a province in the game that should be liberated : every player will have a CB on this province and MUST dow the owner...those who won't must pay 200d that will be given to those who are making the war... the player who liberate the area will get a 500d bonus
- in the same idea
-the owner of the religious cities in the game will get a 200d bonus per session (or +1 stab) : jerusalem, Mecqua, probably Irak and one other city

will be improved a lot on monday (my internet connection was out this week)

what scenario do you plan to use?

what do you mean by "CB needed, BB less than 15"? Does it mean countries cant get more than 15 BB points?

i believe latin techgroup is a must to prevent real latins kicking human player asses, plus it adds more flavour to the MP experience,IMO.

I think all wars should have bonuses, and a larger bonus for fighting Christians.

What khanate do you have in mind? i think golden horde is too powerful, maybe Uzbek or Nogai or something like that...

it would be nice to have in-game missions which can give bonus or malus...

I also think Mameluks are not playable. Maybe if the event that makes the OE inherit the mameluks once they conquer their capital should be edited out...

Maybe OE would make a good AI Bad Boy, giving him same latin tech as all the human players, plus cores on all human player capitals for free CB.

You may also want to add in a Hungary in Ortho tech (to slow down the OE) and a granada (to replace Spain?), though these would most likely expand un-cheched into Europe. Maybe you could make Malacca and Brunei Trading/Colonizing nations taking the roles of Portugal/Holland/England and you will most definatly need to crank up the income levels in those dirt poor arabic provinces. :)

well guys, that's nice to see some people interested by that idea....

personnaly i'm available almost everyday day at any time ( 16:00 CET til 02:00 CET) exepted perhaps thursday and frieday (the day i'm partying)

but the MAJOR problem is to edit a balanced scenario....
I think it sould be the great campaign
but we should find somebody up to do that.... i know how to give money and to modify sliders, but i d'ont know how to give provinces by editing or changing the tech tree and so on....

with all of us in the latin techgroup

for the religion :
i think we can make a VP bonus for the one who owns the "religious" cities (Jerusalem, Mecca and the others for the Chiite.. don't clearly know them.. we need to discuss)
or we can give him money (to stand for the numerous pilgrims who pay or give money)

a Djihad can be made to liberate a muslim provinces against major nations (spain or france or the other, don't know that..) Humans MUST dow them OR give a small present every year to the nation involved in the war

we must find a way to easier Conversion i think
and to give perhaps 100d every session for non muslim provinces

perhaps somethoing like 500d per war against a major AI and infidel nation

and finaly i would take Oman ;)

war bonuses should be given, IMO, only for human wars. i am thinking of deflation and money, in function of how many years the war lasted, and also a chance to get a leader, as a function of the % of manpower lost in the war.

I also think money bonuses should be given to those converting a province ( only if they succeed! )...

i dont think bonus for wars against major AIs is necessary, as a Djihad would probably make the fighting countries richer from contributions...

i could help with edits maybe...

well guys i'm editing the scenario so that :
Ak Kuyonku, Nubia, Oman, dehli, Uzbehk Khanat, mallaca and Morroco or Algiers :
are all latin tech
we get more cultures (usually 1 major and 2 small, or 2 small ones)
more population for poor countries (+10000 / 20000 or 30000)
convertion of all our provinces exepted for dehli (rich enough even with not muslim religion)
we all get 1000d at start
we will all become enough missionaries, colons and diplo
all sliders put to 5 (but we all get the possibility to change 6 points of sliders before starting)
all tech to 1 exepted for navy and stability to 2 (and for Oman : level 2 trade : provinces are poor and only 1 culture)

BUT : i don't know how to unify Morocco and Fez... so can anyone do it? or it would be better to take Algiers

after this will be done i'm going to test this scenario a little and think about the leaders and the monarchs
as far as explorators are concerned, the muslim know enough of the world I think if they exchange their maps

As Oman i colonized a bit, made a lot of trade, tried to conquer my neighbours
the same for mallaca, rather fun
same for morocco

as Uzbekh i tried to conquer my poor neigbourgs (and in the future to get Timourid)
as nubia its possible to colonize africa (in competition with Oman) and try to get mamelouk as soon as possible

didnt tested Ak Kyonku nor dehli, need to be tweaked

tech is rather fast thanx to the latin techgroup and the sliders (5 everywhere : level 2 Land can be reached in 1450

morroco is always at war with Spain, too hard to manage, so their relations are now +200 (player must turn any alliance offer down)
Nubia can easely form an alliance to take mamelouk and colonise africa
Uzbehk are suffering from a lack of port to trade, but has a lot of weak neighbourgs
Oman is ok
Mallaca has now cores to avoid being the bad boy of Asia
Delhi and Ak Koyku : not tested but seem to do well with AI yet
Players have the same land tech as europeans, that's a bit exagerated
