Thank you Aggressor....I never tryed that scenario, I'll have a look.
The problem is that I like very much have time to prepare my country for war, it's one of the best part of that game...

The Scenario starts on May 1st, 1939 and if you are Italy
you still have a plenty of time to prepare because you
don't have to join Axis exactly in September 1939. The
Scenario has been balanced so that the Vichy event most
likely fires around mid 1940 and if Italy joins Germany right
after fall of France it has over a year to prepare for the war
(May, 1939 - June/July, 1940).

On the other hand if you start 1936 made by Paradox Germany
has 3 years and 8 months to build up mighty Wermacht but
Axis' enemies prepare as well and the most possible balance
by Sep. 1939 is not good for Germany

No we can't....is Christmas...I think that a good date to start is Tuesday 2 January, and then play every Monday evening.

ID love to be the Generalismo in italy. this is only 3rd MP game but ive had DD for 6 months and have played every major and some minor countries and have done well with them. plus im free most any time of the day at any time of the week. i stay at home and take care of the house so really houscleaning and shopping can be done around gametimes

So come in HOI2 channel the 2° day of January at 18:30.
That's also for the other mates that want join us.
If the people that posted before have some problem with the date or the start time we can find a solution, else see you next year.
At the first meet we can also decide if we want try that new balanced 39 scenario or go with a 36.

Interested in playing Mp with HoI2

Hi Conte,
since I'm from Italy too, i would be very interested in playing Mp for the very first time with Ho2 (Not the Doomsday expansion). I am available form mondays trough fridays, form around 11:00pm till 1:00am.
I have some experince with single player, especially with Italy and Japan, therefore I would be glad if i could play as one of those nations. The trouble is that my actual version of Ho1 2 is filled with parts of various mods I used to improve overrall graphics, so I think that I would need a blank installation with 1.3 b patch installed right?
If you are interested reply to this message and give me some tips on how to get ready to play in MP,

yes but you have to find a not DD game!
It's not too hard find Doomsday with Bitcomet or emule
