This time we'll bring you the 3D models of two modern warships, completing the surface lineup of the German navy as it will appear in Naval War: Arctic Circle.
First, the Type F125 Baden-Württemberg class Frigate, the largest warship in the world designated as a frigate, and possibly the most difficult name to pronounce for non-Germans. The F125 was redesigned after the end of the cold war to include greatly improved land attack capabilities and non-lethal weapons for modern peacekeeping operations.

Still, this brand new frigate is a very powerful anti-submarine platform, especially as it carries two helicopters. Stealth was an important part of the design of the ship. Eight Harpoons (planned replaced by RBS 15 MK4) will deter surface ships from getting too close. She will, however, need support for air defense, as its RAM Block II missiles have insufficient range to scare dedicated hostile aviators.
The F123 Brandenburg class Frigate is a more regular-sized frigate, also specifically designed for anti-submarine duties with space for two helicopters.

The class is currently being upgraded with more modern sensors, also replacing its old Exocet anti-ship missiles with RBS 15 Mk. 3. She will also be equipped with a more formidable SAM weapon, the ESSM, so she can at least hold her own in air defense for a while.
Complimenting these two ships, the German navy has the F124 Sachsen class air defense frigates (posted earlier), which truly holds a scary arsenal of anti-air weapons. Putting these three ship classes to sea, along with the Type 212 submarine (not yet featured here), it is fair to say that the German navy will pose a significant threat to any adversary daring to come too close to its home waters.
Teaser: The German navy will play a pivotal role in the campaigns of Naval War: Arctic Circle.
