I remember a modificated (core?) map, that I used with core 3.2. Is it possible to use it with the latsest core version, too? I tried to combine the old map with the new core by myself, but that was a big failure...

Unlikely - because so many events are scripted differently.

Someone would have to rewrite them and not only that...

The guys from that mod should do that - only they know what was done already and what will have to be done.
