New letters, please!

I would like to suggest that you add more symbols in game, so that names of ministers, leaders, units could be written properly. For example:

- special YUG characters: Ž ž Đ đ Š š Ć ć Č č

- special POL characters: Ą ą Ę ę Ł ł Ń ń Ś ś Ź ź Ż ż

- special CZE characters: Ď ď Ě ě Ň ň Ř ř Ť ť Ů ů

- special Latvian characters: Ā ā Ē ē Ģ ģ Ī ī Ķ ķ Ļ ļ Ņ ņ Ū ū

- special Lithuanian character: Ų ų

- special ROM characters: Ă ă Â â Î î Ș ș Ț ț

- special TUR characters: Ğ ğ İ ı

I would also suggest adding cyrillic letters for USSR, Bulgaria, Yugoslavia, Serbia, Montenegro, Macedonia, Ukraine, Belarus... And also Greek alphabet.

Problem is, the list is endless... You also have many different alphabets. If you start using extra letters for those you suggested, you might as well take different alphabets as well.

Or you could just leave it as it is, and go with the most probably transcription you can find.

Yes but... I do not wish to offend any language, but why some symbols deserve to exist (ã, ñ, õ, å, ø) nad the others do not? Poland is much larger country than Denmark, but you do not have any special polish character, for example. õ only appears in portuguese, which is used only in Portugal and Brazil, but there are no cyrillic letters, used in USSR, Bulgaria and Yugoslavia, and you cannot doubt that large number of players play as USSR.

Well, depends on the keyboard of the developers, I guess. They're Swedish, don't forget.

All these symbols exist in your windows oc. You just need to activate them in language bar. Or in any MS Office program by selecting Insert/Symbol... option in menu bar. Besides, there is a font file in game directory. They can just add these symbols and assign, for example, Alt + four digits code for accessing them. And all symbols will be in game, available for users. And do not worry about pronunciation. I will volunteer for writting all transcriptions for difficult symbols.
And I can prove to you that, for example, Serbian (Serbocroatian) language (YUG in game), even written in cyrillic, is the world's easiest language to learn how to read and write. And basiclly, all cyrillic written languages are very easy to learn to read. Same with the Greek alphabet.
