I'm playing Denmark, and my 2. king is dying (he's 77yo). I have that succession law where the strongest person in the country gets to be king.
However when my king dies and this new guy is instated, the loyalty is like 10% and dropping, and within a couple of days the rebellions start. And trying to quench them only makes things worse. With the close connection between loyalty and BB it's virtually impossible to get things turned around. My old king had plenty of gold, prestige and piety and an honourable rep. NOTHING of this rubs off on the new guy (except the gold). I've decided to take all the provinces under my own adm. and see if my BB will get better so I can reinstate some counts.
Can anyone tell me what to do in this case?
PS. The new king was previously an "ordinary" courtier - ha had no land or anything. Does that make any difference?
