What's with the different colors in the unit icons? (image 2)

Those dragons hanging on the unit interface are really obnoxious and take up an inordinate amount of space on the screen. That would bug the living hell out of me while playing.

Yes, yes, it's not the most practical part of the UI, but they look good and many people like it that they are there. But we already got some feedback as the first screenshots were out that it takes up too much space on the screen, so we agreed on a solution:

You will be able to turn it off and have a UI without the dragons. :)

I for one like the dragons UI. So a good thing there is an option to make everyone happy.

That doesn't look bad. I'm starting to have hopes for this game.

Those dragons hanging on the unit interface are really obnoxious and take up an inordinate amount of space on the screen. That would bug the living hell out of me while playing.

I like interface fluff like that quite a bit, but they are big and definitely in the way. I thought the little round fluff, which bulged from the top of the bottom army selection bar in KA, was a bad place to put it, too.

The center of the screen should have as much space for the 3D gameplay area as it can, while still keeping functionality and fluff to the sides. Those dragons stick up quite a ways and sucks up valuable 3D engine area. While it's obviously supposed to be in the corners on a 4:3 screen resolution, it'll stick out like a sore thumb on most people's widescreen formats as we see in those shots. I'd like to see the option to either remove the bottom bar fluff or get them redone so that they hug mostly just the sides of the interface bar and/or the bottom of the screen.

Just my opinion on it. Would still be playable, of course.

Nice work, though. The art is great as always!
