Hello everyone. I am playing CK2 since 2016 and recently I've noticed that there are no 1 interesting feature - History of battles in the province. I think that feature can be added in new DLC (if it will be), just wanted to say that I think this is really interesting, to show the history of battles in the province, with the date and participating countries, as well as the number of people and the winner.
Happy Valentine's day, peace.

While potentially an interesting feature, it's probably too much effort for too little gain, especially if it's going to record every engagement, likely needlessly cluttering the game in the process.

I would like some more history recap actually.
At least the greatest battles with commanders of the timeline. Conquerors that conquered the most land in their lifetime.
Some world chronicle with Empire founding, Crusades (Great Holy Wars, Jihads), Religious Reformations, Conversion events of Kingdoms and/or Empires.

Honestly, anything that helps me look at a situation I wasn't involved with later and go "how the hell did this happen"?

It would be save game bloat hell to record every battle like that, but some kind of mechanic to record significant, defining battles in major wars could be potentially cool if done right.

I had one battle in a campaign a long time ago, where I was playing Germanic and took most of a weakened, vulnerable France in an opportunistic Great Holy War, and was defending the crusade that came a few years later. It seemed certain France was to be taken back by the Christians, but then I had a battle where the Pope and leader of the Knights Templar were both enemy commanders, and I was lucky enough to capture the two of them. I mutilated the Pope and happened to remove one of his eyes--making him look like the One-Eyed God and giving him a bonus to Pagan Opinion, then forced him to end the crusade, and carved the Templar who dared suffer the wrath of the Fylkir into a blood eagle.

That's the sort of history defining moment in a war that would be fantastic to be remembered ingame somehow.
