Hello i would like to share some ideas i have in mind for new technologies.

1)Auxiliary territorial service: this can be researched from 1938 onward and put women in service like drivers, nurse doctors, traffic controls and working in factories and farms. They free men from these duties. This tech gives a bonus of + 300 recruitable monthly in states for each level researched (3 level).1938-1943

2)Commandos:Recruitable from special forces tech since 1940.They can be unload and sneak behind enemy lines and they can sabotage industries or delay research tech, for example nuclear research. They can assassinate general but this last thing is the most difficult. If they are imprisoned they can riveal secret of their nation.
They can sabotage or occupy a bridge located in a strategic position until main forces arrives.

3)Snipers:These can be added as support troops:They give a malus on the enemy officer skills (max -10)

Let me know what you think about it, thanks.

Some people still won't give up on Women in Aviation...

Well, none of this is really a technology. Number 1 is purely social thing (no women in Japanese aviation), number 2 is subversive activity (should be Comintern shtick, but...), and number 3 is just weird.

1) Its not technology - its NF, for Commonwealth nations at least.
2) Commandos of the time, as in real-life, not fantasy ones, are displayed by recon companies.
3) Try sniping an officer from 15 km away. Plain impossible. They could be the anti-thesis of Recon Companies, and give the enemy initiative reduction.

1. I agree that this should be a thing, but not how you suggest. I do think domestic policy would be a nice addition to this game, but I would rather they fix the AI first

2. Espionage also needs to be in the game, but commandos are already represented by recon companies

3. No

1)I would add these to all nations also if is anti historical for balance or like a national focus.

2)No..my idea is a "real commando"3d model ,doing sabotage and risk missions behind enemy lines.Like destroy nuclear implant or delay research or also assassinate enemy generals. One model for the axis and one the allies.

3)Sniping could be the opposite like you sayd or a skill of a commando.

The first sounds more useful for a Focus Tree item rather than tech-tree, similar to Military Youth national ideas.
Second thing, that should be less of a unit and more like covert ops for spies like in HoI3. Maybe with a spy system update, but making a new kind of unit that otherwise would be like paratroopers seems unlikely to happen.
Third, no. Getting generals just killed by that is both unhistorical and un-fun in-game. Imagine having a level-7 Erwin Rommel with all the good traits getting killed by an unseen foe... no.

Ok so no 3d model but still commandos that can do all sort of secret operation with some option from diplomacy panel. Snipers were actually shooting officers in the war giving them priority over normal infantry.Generals could be unfun as you sayd but snipers could give some sort of malus to enemy troops like decreased moral or kinda like.
The first could be a research tech unlocked by the national focus and with 3 grades from 1938 to 1945.Gives + 300 recruitable monthly growth in states since men are free by duties made by women such driving, traffic control and other historical auxiliary services.

1) I think this could be done well in a sort of daily manpower growth in an ongoing focus. Like +.01% to manpower pool per day.
2) It would be a good idea if there were more technologies and more opportunities to research but even then I don't think it could be implemented as you describe it. I could see it being a +10% permanent increase to the technology, or perhaps a pause and lock on the technology, the pause preventing it from continuing and the lock preventing the player from changing it for that duration.
3) I could see sniping (Or assassination) being available as a possibility to take out political advisors and military advisors, like Pay 500 Political Power and get rid of (For example) Germany's Cavalry advisor. The cost would have to be extreme to discourage it's use, or perhaps it would be random instead.

1. there could be one or more laws or national focii regarding women and also things like coloured people being allowed to serve in the US Army, I suppose. Then again, you could just as well say that these things are covered by recruitment laws.

2. Wouldn't mind commando raids and such, but not as on-map 3D units.

3. BlackICE has sniper teams as a researchable tech, and they give you a bonus to infantry divisions' combat strength. I think this is too small a thing for vanilla HOI4, though.

Maybe a "sniper ace" could work for infantry in the same way as "ace pilots" do for airwings. After some research into sniping teams of course. However these should be really rare and situational, if added in the first place.

Commandos wouldn't be feasible as units because almost all combat in Hearts of Iron IV happens at divisional and sometimes brigade level. Commandos would operate in a platoon or maybe a company, and they'd be useless since they could just be crushed by the 9000-strong divisions that the enemy would always use, since they tend not to use any smaller units.

How many women one can recruit to new jobs, depends exclusivly on how much work you can automate with high efficiency of new hardware.

The reason mostly Allies did it, simply boils down to them having resources to do so, largely oil for introduction of efficient farming.

It's not some tech or NF, if a country invests capital into it's economy, it should have more manpower available to take away to war.

It's not like Axis and Soviets didn't use women as much as they could.

German used slave labour into factories they could have that as national focus and also a NF called "Afrika corps":this give a motorized and armored units that pop out in sicily if you have a pact of steel focus with italy and if the generala has an armoured or desert bonusk skill (Rommel and few others). Also when units goes to africa or get recruited there they could have a desert camo uniform.

However to sum these ideas are also reading your opinion:

1)Auxiliary service most agree this could be a focus for commonwealth but to me better for all nations for balance.
2)Commandos could be put into diplomacy into "espionage and sabotage"with variouse options: kill military and political advisors, destroy important nuclear and missile rockets sites, destroy bridge. They cant engage enemy divisions. Enemy or Ai can counter that with counterespionage option.
3)Sniper in this case are already covered with sabotage and else.
4)Afrika corps.
5)Desert uniform and camouflage bonus for artillery when they get attacked by fighters and bombers.
