Hello guys,

We just released a new hotfix for Steel Division: Normandy 44, here's the changelog:

Feature:
  • Added 4 new 10v10 test servers with 15-minute phases. The game starts with 600 deployment points instead of 500. Let us know what you think about them in the comments!
Fixes:
  • In Closer Combat mode, deploying an infantry Ace without its transport now correctly deploy the Ace
  • Fixed the Vickers K weapon models for the British CMDO Support units
  • Fixed the mouse cursor, now shows covers when placing a new unit
  • Fixed the HUD size "small" and "very small" options
  • Fixed a bug where some tanks tracks were not moving
  • Fixed an error in Lord Lovat's biography

Have fun!

I wonder if you have somehow turned off a bit of the "watch" possibility you put in your public servers ?
I'm indeed able to join the games to watch them but i canno't change the speed of the game anymore (it turns back to speed 1 no matter what i do, even wtching them at 0,5 speed) and everything happening in speed 1 is now defintely laggy. I wonder if it's intended ? To reduce the lags of the games due to watchers maybe ? Or if it's just me ?
If i missed this change, my bad.

Hi Gilmund,

Could you please try with lower graphics?

ActionMambels, we have no such plan at this time. However, you can ask for a private server, to know more about this and what it'll bring to you, please read this.

I doubt it is related to my graphics cause i havn't changed a thing since i got the game, have no lag trouble when i play and mostly i never had this effect before when i was watching public servers games. They were smooth even in x5 speed.
It is very new but i couldn't date the change. That's why i think it is related to one of the last patches. I wonder if other people get the same issue watching games.
It is like the server is preventing me to watch. Maybe a protection to prevent me to slow the game ? I've indeed no huge connexion atm, but enough to play correctly (like 3mb).

I've tried to pause the "watch" to see if the data will go into a buffer or something if i'm not loading it fast enough but when i click the "play button" again, it forces me to speed 1 again despite the actions to be extra speedy like the game has to quickly get me to the actual action. Which says to me everything is downloaded but doesn't render correctly. It is very very weird.
