Why such hate on this thread? If you guys hate eachother so much why do you even play together? There was clearly some fail in the allied high command last game, but I didn't take it personally to despise the leadership, it's just a game. When you lose, you hopefully learn something - use it as a learning experience.

It's a long mystery. Even our first session save was named "gay game". And now after 16 sessions and almost 6 months after, I couldn't say the game has the most friendly atmosfere, but we manage to keep it together somehow. I guess the whole thing is simply because of the larger amount of ppl. More spamm and ppl create more tension and that brings the hate and so on. Personally I haven't ever minded these annoying ppl, but I do what I must to keep the game tolerable for the other players.

But if someone truly starts to be an insufferable d*ck, which is actually true with some ppl, I will call a kicking vote if the person goes too far. This goes for both ingame and the thread, they're all the same. So everyone can consider this as a warning and think what they are saying and doing around here.

Hi Storm,

That's the reason i don't wanna play right now. It's should be a fun game. Also those people who using cheats are just bad players.

I wanted some challenge on multiplayer because everybody says that SP is boring. But right now im enjoying SP more, because the AI don't complain, is not whining etc.

I bet some guys in this group have the same idea of playing a MP game. It's a GAME ( for those who don't see the difference )

First of all, nobody cheats and the game is pretty fair. We make new rules of all the problems we have faced, so that shouldn't be an issue.

Also there is no way you could totally get rid of any whining and such with a large group, humans just like to whine. ...It is pretty quiet for you to play with the AI. There are ups and downs and you have to accept it, or just play with your AI then. Whining and other negative humanly stuff does belong to MP and there even was some whining with ww2 with military commanders and so on! ...Now I'm not saying I like whining, constant insulting or anything, but as long as it's in moderation, it's acceptable and it happens pretty much in every single larger MP game.

And I don't want to whine myself, but when we were playing with you, your internet could barely keep together for one hour. You had loads of problems and we often had to wait for you. So ofc ppl whine then if they are waiting hours for one guy. I hope your internet is better now?

I like to keep this game around 10 players. The longer term guys play majors, while the new players can try out minors. The minor players play in their alliance and see the stuff the major needs to do and learn a lot. While playing, they also demostrate that they can be trusted to take a major in the future (not wanting a guy who just plays a major for one session and then dissapears)

So now with a lot of new faces in this game, I hope you will give it a shot at some point. It's been a long time uknow.

In other news, our China test was pretty successful. The battles of Chonqing and Ya'an lasted for about a month. The Japanese had to do several offensives and bombing to break the forts. Here the surrender event fired soon and we thought to make two rules regarding it.

First, China has to accept it, because refusal would give Japan the hugest parties in HoI history and the nightmare to push to Golmud. ...Secondly Japan can only take the annexation option. This is because Japan should get the belligerence for annexing China, leading to the US gearup and Chinese puppets are pretty gamey infantry spammers.

It's just a fact that most people take this game too seriously, and are too selfish, and are too easily offended, and... Dunno if it's because this is international game, cos' in Finnish MPs i haven't face nothing similar...

I couldnt belive if I wouldnt myself withness that so civilized and highly complicated game like HoI2 gathers idiots, cheaters and spammers this much. Shouldnt they play CS since it is just stupid to try exploit every single thing like previous US player did.

Anyway I also have my problems, but after having played many years and withnessed many different situations I simply dont care be nice anymore. If there is an idiot I flame/vote him out because this game needs only 6 players to work properly, not 10 and there is always players willing to join.
