Well, we can always make some Canada/Australia player UK. Actually France player, would also be ok, because France could just organize its build ques and let AI deploy them.

Don't know who Hax is or what he did but I'm not him. I live in USA (Texas) and just would like to have the opportunity to join in and meet everyone. If I get started in a game I'll finish it. I have little experience against live competition but am sure I'd pick it up quickly. Would be quite willing to be a minor nation. Like I said I just want to get started, see how the game is played out, and do whatever is neccessary to pay my dues and be a part of the HOI community. Everyone has to start somewhere. Thanks, Sam

If you live in the US, are you sure the time when we play (which is in the evening in Europe) will be suitable for you?

Yes I understand the time difference. It is of course in mid day for me which is great. I can only play weekends right now as I have to work during the week but wanting to be a regular on the weekends. Thanks for your reply. Sam

Well, maybe 1% of the players here are like hax, but ofc it isn't hard to guess that if someone starts to act like a d***, he gets kicked. :rofl: ...So I don't understand what voting would help, we can't know how he behaves anyway, but you can even see from the posts that he ain't anything like hax.
Everyone has to start somewhere, so did I. So welcome aboard! Most of us are quite low on MP experience, so you shouldn't get owned that easily.
If you live in Texas, that is GMT-6, right? So that means that the game will be at 11am-16pm your time. If you can do that time, then that is good. Also I've heard that Euros mixed with US players might make the game laggy, but I will test before making my judgement about that. There seem to be some American games around here, so you might want to try them as well, because this game is so full that I can only offer you a place as a substitute.
So have you tested that you can join games on valky? If you are behind a router or a firewall, then you have to open the three port ranges (2300-2400, 28800-29000, 47400-47700) for HoI.
So if everything is ok, including that you have 1.3b (the checksum is DVJN) and you have read the rules on the frontpage, then you are ready to go. We are having a session today, some players are a bit unsure, if they are coming, but there is no way that I could guarantee that there will be a free place, because we have a 12 player limit. But either way I will add you to the player list, so if I happen to know that some player can't make it to a session, then I will contact you well before the game.

Yes I have checked out my version, firewall, ports, etc. and believe I'm all set with the right version. I have a pretty fast comp so don't think that would be an issue-at least hope not. Guess I'll just show up at the Vnet lobby at the right time and hopefully can find a spot. In any case thanks for your post. Sam

Ok the game will start at the regular time, 1900-1930 GMT+2. We are going to try raising the player max to 14, because the speed will lower anyway because of the wartime (France, North Africa, even USSR?). So we should have a spot for everyone, since Delex isn't coming either, just found out.
I can't guarantee that I will be able to make it tonight since I am having a family event. So don't wait for me. A shame that I won't be able to lead my glorious Finnish divisions straight to Moscow

But np, we have should have enough players, just inform me a bit earlier if you can't come, so that will make organizing the game a bit easier.
