Although my desires for vengeance are great, i am greatly considering in leaving the game. The game has become extremely boring. Honestly, i should have never have joined as France. France didnt have good tech, good economy, good army morale, neither loads of european provinces (actually all of these were the worst in all human nations, apart from venice). I did manage to increase these, but even so, barely. By now, i would have 2x times the current income (if i was playing since the start). Trade is fossilized, so i can barely increase the income. Apart from Venice and Spain, France was never a threat to anyone (and against the latter i am not sure either). The war with Austria was just the final straw. Facing 1v1 against austria, everyone kept fueling austria as if they were losing (while i was the one getting stab hited). Not to say that being one month behind proved to be fatal for poor Villar (amongst other generals).

So, i will resign from the game, if no one is against it. Having an AIed ubber Austria for 100 years really did prove to be fatal.

Hard question. Original rooster was horrifiying. I won't join a noob game ever again. However, last few session were extremely interesting since Tonio and his subs joined. On top of it all we had a full rooster last few times (more or less) with wonderfull subs who were 25 times better then perms (how can that happen ?!#$%).

And yes, I'm against your resigning of the game. We have 100 years left and we should do some figting till the end.

Remind me to never cooperate with you again. Not only have I entered war against Porto for you to never see protective umbrella of your fleet but when I sold you my ships later, you didn't appear at all. I guess God will pay me my kindness because you obviously won't.

England finally managed to have a draw with Portugal and we should finish the game.

Can we mobilise dr. Bob? He is a great player and England is his homeland - I guess he'll know how to finish the game in glory and use Welli and Nelson properly.

Other then that we have a game as long as Tonio subs. Since Tonio haven't committed himself I guess we won't be able to end the game. We need to contact Matija, find new perms etc... GMs should take care of the game but they propose finishing and usually don't appear :wacko:

All in all, I would like to finish the game.

My last one on one war was vs. Tonio in Poland and I lost together with my ubber census. On the other hand, unlike you, I didn't expect to win

If you stay in this game I propose challenging Aus on one on one war. I don't think you can win prior to Nappy but you can test yourself against a strong warlord.

BTW, there are richer people then me in this game. It is not like Ear and you couldn't fund each other. Austria is always funded anyway - it is not like Poland and Denmark would be better if I joined with 700k instead of just sending the funds. Nonetheless I think I got carried away with that funding since Aus showed signs of beeing uber rich immediately after the war :rofl:

Yes, i know the OE isnt the richest. Usually their trade isnt the best, but your census are always the highest. You know, instead of minting, you could simply DOW someone, in a fake war, and use war taxes to TRIPLE census taxes. Gives one inflation point, but it is better then minting for sure. In other game of mine, doing that gave me 4000 census taxes as the OE.

In other words little diplomacy would help you a lot now. But you know that. Problem is in your dissapointment. However, this is a unique game with a banned mod and I would certainly like to finish it and see Nappy on this beautifull map

If you can't continue find us a warlord before you leave. It would be catastrophic if we AIed France in this period. We would loose all the charm of Nappy wars later.

When i declare war on Austria, everyone fuel them crazy. And i am not dowing Venice, they are even worst then i. Now, what do you want me to do? Attack OE in a frenzy? Maybe order my soldiers to swim across the mediteranen, since i dont even got a fleet. :rofl:

You can do a lot but you don't wanna try. For instance you can talk with Aus and agree NAP for one or two sessions. Then you can contact England, try to resolve border issues and make a plan to revive your economy. Valid alliance with England would also be a good idea. In your place I would also contact Porto or OE and Russia. Don't forget to talk with Spain - he can be usefull with his gold if you make a right agreement...

Blah... don't tell me you don't know how to make a policy. Ok, Tonio is Mad Max and we all lost to him but he didn't destroy or cripple any country.

I would also propose edits for France and Spain for the sake of game. I guess we need voting for that but our GM is too embarrased (for no reason - gold inflation escaped his control but it is not the end of the world) to start a voting.

Since situation is as it is I'll ask for that edits; so people vote do you want edits for those two countries for the the sake of the game.

Nab, i dont want to discuss anymore, but do you think i didnt try to discuss with any of these parties? The only one i didnt bother about was the OE and Russia. Whenever i asked you to intervene, you said "we got a nap with austria". It seems you always had a nap with them for the whole game. You even helped them attack England, so, i will not even dare to speak with you. The only good reason Seen didnt attack me so far, was because they feared Portugal would declare war on them as well. Asked everyone i could, for monetary aid, only denmark agreed, and even so the cash was insignificant. Portugal keeps getting a bigger fleet, wasting all the cash. Whenever i agreed to a NAP with austria and bashed Spain, Portugal always intervened. England never cared about helping me, as Seen said, he even allowed Portugal to attack me, just to see if Duke stoped attacking England. Venice is even worse the France, so i will not bother speaking about them. The only ones who could really help me, are Denmark/Poland (but with those all i could do has been already made). Sure, the only ones you can say that i really didnt care about was Spain. Russia really cant help, in fact, they could declare war on Poland/Denmark while we were settling things with Austria.

Threatening about invading Spain won't give you much help so I suggest France make some reforms in its diplomacy agenda.
