Session report of Friday, July 6, 2007.

Date is April 11, 1940.

Axis : Germany, Italy, Hungary, Bulgaria, Romania, Portugal and Argentina.

Allies : UK, France, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Siam, Iraq, Bhutan, Nepal, Oman, Yemen, Belgium, Venezuela, Saudi Arabia, Brazil, Norway and Sweden.

Comintern : USSR, Tanu Tuva and Mongolia.

USA : USA, Guatemala and Nicaragua.

Japan : Japan, Manchukuo, Mengkukuo and Nationalist China.



A very interesting session.

Axis took Paris and Germany set up Vichy France. UK evacuated France succesfully saving all units except French units, which preffered to stay home.
UK had Saudi Arabia joined and strengthened its Middle East position.
Brazil was next to join Allies and Argentina was invaded by joint UK and Brazilian forces.
UK invaded Portugal from Gibraltar and after landing succesfully in Faro took all continental Portugal.
UK had Sweden in Allies and provoked Germany's DOW at Norway opening a Scandinavian front.
Germany invaded Sweden.


Session highlights :

February 5, 1940 : USA declared war upon Cuba.
February 12, 1940 : Saudi Arabia joins Allies.
February 13, 1940 : Axis won a battle against France in Paris.
February 15, 1940 : Axis won a battle against France in Amiens.
February 15, 1940 : Belgium had The Belgian Capitulation.
February 16, 1940 : Germany went with Set up French Puppet Government in Vichy France.
February 16, 1940 : Syria declared independence from Vichy France.
February 16, 1940 : Lebanon declared independence from Vichy France.
February 16, 1940 : France went with Rally to De Gaulle.
February 16, 1940 : Japan gets French Indochina.
March 6, 1940 : Brazil joins Allies.
March 8, 1940 : Axis lost a battle against United Kingdom in Faro.
March 14, 1940 : United Kingdom is now granting USA military access through their country.
March 14, 1940 : Axis lost a battle against United Kingdom in Lissabon.
March 16, 1940 : Germany went with Scandinavia is not important in Altmark Incident.
March 16, 1940 : United Kingdom went with Plan for an intervention in Norway in Altmark Incident.
March 16, 1940 : Axis lost a battle against United Kingdom in Oporto.
March 24, 1940 : Sweden joins Allies.
April 6, 1940 : Germany won a battle against Sweden in Stockholm.
April 10, 1940 : Germany went with Attack Norway and Denmark in Fall Weserόbung.
April 10, 1940 : Norway joins Allies.

Session report of Sunday, July 8, 2007.

Date is July 24, 1940.

Axis : Germany, Italy, Hungary, Bulgaria, Romania, Portugal and Argentina.

Allies : UK, France, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Siam, Iraq, Bhutan, Nepal, Oman, Yemen, Belgium, Venezuela, Saudi Arabia, Brazil, Norway and Finland.

Comintern : USSR, Tanu Tuva and Mongolia.

USA : USA, Guatemala and Nicaragua.

Japan : Japan, Manchukuo, Mengkukuo and Nationalist China.



A session which 3 fronts active !!! Scandinavia, Mediterranean-Middle East and Argentina.

Italy seeing UK busy in Scandinavia and Argentina, decided to go offensive in the Mediterranean.
Took Malta, invaded and annexed Greece and invaded Palestine. Invading Iraq and tries to weaken Allied position in Suez with continuous air bombings and land attacks.
UK had Finland joined and sent RAF to Finnish air bases and strong navies and land forces to Norway.
Massive air combat in Scandinavia during the whole session. Luftwaffe and RAF are exhausted.
Germany annexed Sweden, is about to annex Norway and organizes to attack Allied positions in North Finland.

April 16, 1940 : Italy won a battle in Malta.
April 19, 1940 : Finland joins Allies.
April 24, 1940 : Germany went with Seek agreement with Italy and Japan in Tripartite Pact.
April 30, 1940 : Greece joins Allies.
May 9, 1940 : Germany annexed Sweden.
May 14, 1940 : Italy won a battle against Greece in Athens.
May 18, 1940 : Italy annexed Greece.
June 2, 1940 : Argentina lost a battle against United Kingdom in Buenos Aires.
June 21, 1940 : Germany won a battle against Australia in Luleε.
June 24, 1940 : Italy won a battle against Iraq in Amman.
June 24, 1940 : Argentina won a battle against United Kingdom in San Miguel de Tucumαn.
June 25, 1940 : Italy lost a battle against Allies in Suez.
June 27, 1940 : Soviet Union gets Bessarabia.
July 4, 1940 : Italy won a battle against Saudi Arabia in Ar-Ruwayshid.
July 13, 1940 : Italy lost a battle against Allies in Suez.
July 15, 1940 : Germany won a battle against United Kingdom in Narvik.
July 17, 1940 : Germany won a battle against Australia in Kiruna.

UK diplomacy reminded me why we had rule : no Allied influencing till Danzig. :D

Well, he bought time for USSR beast and now the Fuhrer is sceptic about next move. :cool:

Perhaps Axis shall not avoid getting annexed by Allied team but remember there is second game with us being the Allies and he who gets annexed later wins. :cool:


Anyway, looking forward to next session.

Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday he will be absent.

So, i suggest we play Tuesday, Wednesday and perhaps one of next days (Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday) subbing Knupp. :)

In this session the Fuhrer made it clear that he would not deal with the Bolshevics as long as situation in Europe is not stable.
Germany annexed Norway and Finland using massive land forces and the Luftwaffe.
Now Scandinavia is clear.
Italy took Alexandria and Suez and invaded Arabian peninsula, annexing Oman and Yemen puppets.
Now, route to India is open.
Republican Spain could not be ignored as they would join Allies if moved one interventionism slider.
Germany invaded Spain, took Continental Portugal back and almost all Continental Spain.
Now, massive Axis armies heading to well fortified Gibraltar. The battle for Gibraltar is near.

We are not in a hurry. We have the forces and power to control all of you (and annex you :rofl: ). But we want it all and we want it now (Queen song) :D
