Thanks, for the compliment. I don't know how that argument would stand up in court, but it sounded good to me.
Either way, I don't think it will make a difference whether Poland/Austria DoW's me. Its coming, whether I want it to or not. We'll see how the newly improved Dutch military holds up under pressure.I'll ask around for a Swedish sub on ICQ when I get home. If you guys don't mind playing with very aggressive players, I can probably get one.
There is also a slight possibility I may be able to play tonight. My fiance has been pretty sick today and she doesn't want to go out. I'll see if she'll let me play.

Wow, who knew that this kind of storm would erupt in the diplomacy thread from my little note about the state of the swiss as well as a little note to Barca/Stonewall. Oh well. Should be an interesting session tonight.
I think I may have bitten off more than Barca can chew Its one thing to fight a 1-1 war or a 2-1 war. But 3-1 is pretty bad odds, especialy given Holland's puny manpower. Hopefully the Swedish sub can help Barca out in the coming war.

I find this greatly amusing. What I orginally thought would be a minor regional confrontation with the Dutch has now involved over half the world. Ah well, maybe the Dutch and Polish can compete to see who can build the most troops. Maybe I can bankrupt the Dutch.

I thought the same thing. We'd have a limited war and see if you could take and hold Madgburg. If you achieved that I'd cede it to you or release it. If not, you'd give up your claims. Oh well, looks like Greater Austria and Italy will become Dutch or be liberated.
Barca: I don't think there's much chance of me being able to play tonight. I'll run the idea by my cisk fiance and hope she's doped up on enough meds that she says yes.
Please note that in the spirit of what seems to be a love of 1v1 wars, Austria will not come in unless Sweden is called.

Well, I'll be able to make it tonight. I've been given permission to play, although I may be slightly distracted at times. So, if a sub for Sweden hasn't been found, I'd suggest Barca take over Sweden and I'll resume as Holland. See you guys in COTN at 8:30.
