But many shields did come with EU3 and its various expansions---which IIRC was the main reason that no shields were done for EU4. They plain and simply felt that EU3 had already provided all the shields needed.
(Though I and others felt that they still could have made from avatars for EU4; especially given that later EU4 players needn't have played EU3 too.)

To the powers that be (meaning @TinyWiking possibly ?), i'll go the opposite way from some posters and ask if we can please have a new rating option : "Funny" or "Hilarious" for posts that make us laugh.

A friend of mine just joined the forums to view my CWII AAR, but he cannot view the OT even when logged into his account. Do you need at least one game registered to view the OT or is it just a delay?
One game indeed. Don't think that a certain amount of posts are enough.
Is there any sort of changelog with the changes at each maintenance?

How come I cant change my profile picture to a stellaris one? Do I have to wait for my items to sync from steam? Im generally confused I've never used the forums before.
@Großdeutsches Reich yes you need to wait until the sync has gone through, which might take a few hours, since you need stellaris registered to use the stellaris avatars.
Is there a way to see what moderator is responsible for a specific subforum (like in the old forum, where the responsible moderator could be seen on the first page of a forum)?

As GIgau said, connectyour Steam account and snych your Owned Items, though you should be able to see the general forum for EU4 even without that.
At least that's how it used to be.

If that doesn't fix it, log out and log back in again or start a fresh thread here in the Help subforum
or click on "ticket system" on the Support page you posted and submit a request ticket there.
Also you didn't manage to blur your email; it is still completely visible. You'll probably want to either fix that or remove the attachment.

As in remove the avatar completely? Not possible. You can change it to something else though, there are quite a few

He didn't pick one when he created his account, once one is selected they can't be removed. You may also see users with a white box and a ? in it, that's the same story. We want to avoid having a forum of users with that though as it looks quite silly.
