Am I supposed to be able to see the posts of the future in conversations (PM:s) or rather, post in the past?
This also caused me to double post, which is annoying as you can't delete posts from PM's and editing time is limited to 5 minutes.

Your question is rather vague, we have a policy about no unapproved links, so you wouldn't be able to promote another developers site via link, however in the OT you will see some people talking about other games.
If ones intent is just to bash another company, that wouldn't go over well.

I want to know if you can talk about another game in a relevant manner, such as in a comparative way, usually during suggestions. To come and ask moderators if bashing another company is fine, even if it isn't their own, would be absurd.

Is there any way to turn the clicking on the name of a thread back into going to the first page rather than the latest post? It can get rather annoying when one wants to just go and look at a dev diary and instead ends up having to spend much more time than is necessary getting to the first page.
Just click on the date under the thread name to go directly to the first post.
As Jorlem states you can click on the date. On the other hand the go to newest post feature has been buggy lately, so would be nice if it was looked at.
I've never seen someone embed a whole album of images before.
Looking into it, seems to require the ability to have HTML inside the post, which is deliberately not a feature in the forum software. There are addons to turn it on, but it exposes a lot of risk at the same time.
So the answer at least right now is: No, it's not possible.
I've seen them alot on Kerbal's forums, they are really useful for condensing big AAR posts but yeah HTML is a risk.. They have their own BB code for it.
