What does adding a Facebook account to "external accounts" actually do?
And what is the difference to adding the Facebook accounts in "Contact details"?

- Where are the EU4 avatars? I only have EU4 women in history.
- What happened to that table on a profile page that summarized how many Agrees/Disagrees you had? That was useful.
- Are there any plans to add back missing forum icons, or has that idea been scrapped for now? I'd like my Holy Knight (and its avatars) back.
Removed due to people spamming agrees and disagrees to turn it into a game.

i need some help with some of my own threads:
in the eu4-mod-subforum i opened a thread for my mod HaREM (started in old forum, linked in my sig) which contains an attachement. this file is now outdated and i tried to remove it. the result: removing it from the old post occurs, that the file is seen now in an extra box. to remove that, its necessary to get acces to "more options", which is restricted to new posts (error-message: This action is available via POST only. Please press the back button and try again.)
how can i remove an attachement from an very old post?
and the second question:
is it possible in any way to add an attachement via edit to an old post?
esp. for the mod-section this would very senseful...

It sounds like the error that happens when you're logged in to the forum but not your Paradox account? There's probably a sign in error at the top right.
They're meant to be fully linked, but for some unknown reason the Paradox account keeps logging out so they separated them as a temporary fix. You still need to be logged in to both for certain functions, like advanced edits and previews.

no, thats not the reason. have checked that and attachements on posts, which were attached before the new forum, i can´t remove.
newer ones shows no problems.

What browser are you using? I have no problem adding and removing attachments from old posts with IE 9 but doesn't seem to work with Pale Moon (fork of Firefox). Could be security settings.
thanks for the suggestion. i use ff and .... today all works fine. no idea what happens in the last weeks or if somebody change something of the forum.

I want to browse Vicky 1 AARs, but the first page shows two stickied posts (the anthology and Concerning Image-Heavy Threads) and two AARs (The World is Not Enough and Deo Vindice a CSAAR!) on page 1 with "Showing threads 1 to 2 of 1.127". The
second, third, fourth, all the way to 57th pages have no threads and "Showing threads 21 to 20...41 to 40...61 to 60..." all the way to "1.121 to 1.120 of 1.127". When I follow a link to another AAR (in the Anthology, for example), it links to the AAR, but I want to read AARs from most replies down. It works for the old forum, though.

That workaround only works if you're logged into your Paradox account (top right corner) as well as the forum account (or at least it did for me). If you're only logged into your forum account (having forgotten about the Paradox account or been logged out unnoticed) then the workaround does nothing. Hopefully that odd account behaviour re: lack of remembering credentials is still be investigated as it seems to be the source for many of the recurring issues people are reporting.

The paradox account logging you out after ~24 hours is likely how things will stay for the short term, and I've only seen it tied to one issue so far. I think that's been fixed up (haven't seen any reports of it for weeks) and it certainly isnt the cause of 'many' issues
