I actually don't think we have ended up in linguistics for a while now. But this is getting OT.
hmmm...is it me or have I just stayed logged on for like the past 24 hours? (..as opposed to getting logged out like every hour or so)
What has happened is that they temporarily have separated being logged into your account and being logged into the forums. So you keep being logged into the forums; on the other hand you are still logged out of your account as frequently as before. Look in the upper right corner; there is a little black bar telling you whether or not you are logged into your account.

I like the new banners that replace the old news section, they make it really hard to miss anything now.
They don't replace the news section, in fact we're working on something to enhance this even further

I still sometimes get incredibly slow text input in the reply box, it's very weird and uncommon but when it happens it's excruciatingly slow
You can remove it by pressing the x in the upper right corner.
A matter of taste I suppose; given it can easily be removed one you have seen it I like it being big so that you notice it immediately.

@Castellon I can't seem to be able to upload my mod on the forum. You mentioned earlier that I should be able to host my mod here, but when I try, I just get an error. It uploads up to 100% and THEN tells me this:
Does it not accept .7z? If I use anything else, the file size would go up incredibly much as I've got a lot of large map files in the main mod (the one I tried uploading is a submod, but I planned to use the forum for hosting the next release of the main mod). I just tried compressing my main mod with the normal (Windows supported) compression and it's more than 50% larger than with .7z.

EMM_flat_map_1-0.7zIt should work, however we've seen the issue before now so it's weird that it is refusing this. What happens if you try uploading it in a normal .zip or a another format like a .rar file? Just to test it out.
Tried compressing the same mod with .zip and got the same error when trying to get it uploaded.
The one I tried uploading is only about 2 MB for both the .7z and the .zip. The main mod is about 18 MB with .7z and about 26 MB with .zip, but I've not tried uploading that.
How much is it uncompressed? Castellon said that the limit is 1 GB, so you could try and upload it uncompressed just to see if it is the compressions the forum don't like.
The small one (which I tried to upload) is only 13.7 MB uncompressed, while the big one is 109. I have to compress the files to upload them though, as it's basically not possible to upload folders.
