I agree. There is a setting for how old threads you want to have visible. Use that if you don't like old threads.

Old threads have always been visible as you could change your own preferences of how far back you wanted to have threads appearing in the thread list. They don't impact the speed of the forums though as the only thing these settings do is set your own preference.
Quote tags are missing from tools, which are above space, where we write our posts.
Nope they are there. You have to click on the 'insert' button showing next to the smiley, image and videos.

Just a couple of note 
1) PLEASE fix the logging out issue, I click on an email notification and find that I am not logged in so of course it doesn't take me to my first new message (sometimes I just have to click login, other times I have to actually put in my email address again... - All I want is to be able to STAY logged in...
2) Not all email notifications are being sent to me, I have a few thread subscribed with notifications, and those threads have new messages posted in them, BUT I do not receive email notifications for them - why some and not others? doesn't make sense...

Yeah, I click "remember me" every time I log in, but it doesn't seem to stick.

We've seen the logging out issue throughout the thread, it's already been reported.

From previous forum staff posts they have already looked at the logout issue and weren't able to find the cause or it wasn't some simple fix. Given that, it seems they are correctly prioritizing restoring access to unavailable forums since the logout issue is annoying but relatively minor by comparison for most people.
We are aware of that, yet right now (and throughout Easter), even though we are looking at a solution we do not have something available right now. At this moment there is being looked at higher prioritized issues like indeed the permissions so that people can post in the forums again. As harsh it may sound, writing it on multiple pages over and over again won't make it more noticeable since we know already that the issue is there and there's been mentioned a couple of times already that there's being looked at a fix/improvement of the issues

Would it be possible to request the TinyMCE Quattro Editor be looked into at some point? Personally, I think it is a bit more intuitive in terms of buttons and the like, in addition not hiding any without an obvious indication that there is a dropdown menu:

I don't remember my other Paradox Account e-mail and password, I can only remember the profile name... And I used to just say logged in. Thats my problem... SO FIX THIS BECAUSE I WANT TO ACCESS THE CK2 EU4 FORUMS!!!!!
I checked, it only shows that I own a VIC II(Without the DLC) and EU III (Also without the DLC). Nothing else.
If you remember the profile name, you should be able to access the old version of the forums and recover the necessary information that way. I don't for certain if the forgot password links would work there, but it's a worth a try.

As a word of friendly advice, typing in all caps is considered "shouting" and some people find it rude.

I was writing reply in thread. I left computer for a short time to eat something, returned and continued to write (say 3-4 paragraphs total).
When I clicked post reply I got message that I am logged out - it is annoying, but no matter. There was login button, and I have clicked before "remember me" (although sometimes forum does not remember/recognize that I did that - say 10-20% of time), thus I was automatically logged in.
However what pissed me is that I LOST my entire post!!! It was not posted when I was logged in. It was lost from "reply window" below messages in thread (even when I did click "back" button).
Sometimes I notice that when I write reply and do not post it because of whatever reason it is remembered in thread when I come back. Now - nothing, at least 20 minutes of typing lost.

So get the Lazarus plug-in. Expecting any website to save your data for you is a fool's errand.
Always copy large pieces to the clipboard before posting. It is good practice on any forum.
