The "Dev Posts" works strangely.
First it hides most posts made by devs. For example the latest HoI4 DevDiary only shows Johan (Balor's) first post, all his subsequent posts are not shown, whether he made them under Johan or Balor.

It's a little bit confusing, it's true, we're working on making it more understandable.

Basically, "Dev posts" are those posts that a dev has explicitly marked as a dev post when they made it. If they didn't mark it, the post is treated like a regular message and won't be shown when you filter for dev posts. For context's sake, it also always shows the first post in the thread.

Secondly, I would have expected it to show all the posts directly in one page instead of showing empty pages that I have to flip through like if I' browsing all posts. It seems strange to have to flip through empty pages to find that one post made by a dev when it could be show directly after I enable the filter.

As for something completely different: is the multi-quoting system gone gone for good? Do we now have to copy&paste each quoted post independently?

Hitting the reply button when there is already text in the reply box will just add the quoted message to the end of the text in the reply box. Not quite as good as a dedicated multi-quote system, given that the reply button brings you to the bottom of the page, but it will do until they can get Xenforo's multi-quote function active.

I would suggest that all dev posts be marked as "dev posts", especially those made in the game forums, regardless of whether the dev thinks its worthy or not.

We are a bunch of fans, even it's its just a smiley or a a cat picture these posts are worth more then the rest

More seriously, it's also because whatever you guys post is official and carries more weight so it would be a shame to miss some info because a thick was not done before hitting the "post" button.

I edited out my second part... seems that it does show all posts on the first page. The combination of very few posts being shown and the page markers threw me off.

Sorry if this has been mentioned before, but I haven't seen it in the first post of 'known issues'.

If I got to my Profile Page, my avatar is shown to the left of the screen. If I try to click on it, I receive the following message:

Sorry if this has been reported before, but the eu iv modding section is blank for me and says its private.
I have the game registered already and it worked fine on the old forum.

Also, clicking on ck2 aars from the main subforum leads to a broken link.

This is not a huge problem, but consider using a different font or color for read/unread posts. Currently, the difference is not particuarly noticable.

1) Too much whitespace. Information is too low-density, you spend too much time scrolling.

2) I don't want an avatar. I also don't want a question-mark next to my name.

3) The colour-scheme makes my eyes bleed. Writing needs much better contrast.
