New Expansion/DLC Idea

For CK2, EU4, and I'm sure HOI4.

I'd pay expansion price for one single *feature*: Remove the disruptive freeze caused by the autosave when playing Ironman mode.

Spawn the process off on another thread or something, it can't be that hard. Even with a SSD it's annoying.

If they had a DLC that increased optimization and added another speed allowing even faster game play, I'd definitely pay more for that than a new content patch for either CK2 or EU4. I love Paradox games, but I don't have the time I used to and it sucks having to spread a campaign out over a month because I can only get through 10-20 years of a game in a day. I really really wish they would put more resources into something like this, and I'd be willing to pay for it since I feel that would improve my gaming experience more than yet another content patch.

But that isn't really something you pay more for with the current paradox model, that is covered by patches.

Unfortunately it's a cat and mouse game.
First EU4 gets updated and the importer is broken until CK2 gets the next patch [which can take time].
Then EU4 gets updated again and the cycle starts anew.
