Knowing steam itself it will release WoN @ 6p.m. (GMT) in the shop when the shop updates. So it'll be faster to buy it on other sites.
Did someone preodered @ humblestore? I'm already registered there, so that would be the easiest way to get the key. Do they send the key directly like the paradox store?

Nope, we don't do midnight releases. It's going to be somewhere between 3 pm CET and 7 pm CET on May 29th.
I've been considering to stay at home office tomorrow, however with this release time there is no point doing so.

I preordered it on humble bundle last week. They have sent me the usual mail with links, but these links do not give any key (they go to the settings page). I guess that until tomorrow (29th) the keys will not be able to be requested.

Well, looks like I'll be hunched over my laptop mid-flight making trading empires.
Adding a generic answer:
Midnight releases on Steam are pretty expensive things to do (for the Developers/Publishers), so only large mainstream titles made by large mainstream companies release that way. Expansions for a game located in a non-mainstream genre certainly don't.
Can you activate the game through Steam before it hits the Steam store?
Why should we bother preordering from paradox when it says it could take 72 hours to get a key?
I pre-ordered off Humble Bundle also, on the claim page there is no key yet. I'd assume they'd send them out upon release

Don't rightly know! It depends on when the devs feel they're done with it, it'll go up as soon as they're happy with it
