Hey guys.

A friend of mine gifted me a spare copy of EU III he got. Now, a few weeks ago I got CKII and since then I have logged nearly 100hrs game time, so I'm really excited to try EU III.

Now I know next to nothing about the game, how it works, I haven't tried a demo or even looked at a youtube video yet, so here is my questions:

1. What DLC 's do I need (I.E. You highly recommend as adding to the base experience of the game in a meaningful way)?

2. How does it compare to EU IV (which is currently on my wishlist) is it better/worse?

With regard to question 2, I'm hoping that because of all the patches that have been done to EU III and all the DLC that the game is more 'complete', even if EU IV has some newer features or imrpovements.

Basically, as a complete noob to the EU series, I'm just wondering how much I should be preperared to enjoy EU III, or should I pickup EU IV ASAP.

Thanks.

1. Get all the expansion packs.

2. Since you are in the EU3 forums, don't expect to get many endorsements for EU4.=) I haven't played EU4 myself, but from what I've seen it has done some things better and some things worse than EU3. Personally I would wait till it gets a few more expansion packs before picking it up.

Everything but sprite packs really. EUIII complete is way better than the base EUIII.
