Sorry, all updates will take a while longer. I can't currently play CK2 since my PC is busted :(
If there is something broken that can be easily fixed I'll do so, but I won't have time to look into what Wiz' mod broke recently (let alone get the real update I've planned, tactics, to actually work).

Presumably CK2+ changed an event in on_actions that now causes the blank events, so just manually add the battlefield duels to its on_action file.

Bummer about your PC jord. It means you can get a shiny new one at least.

I wanted to throw out my opinion on the compatches. I think your mod is small enough and modifies few enough files to just release the 3 or 4 separate versions with all the files in each zip. If they are savvy users they will know to Winmerge to check which stuff has changed and if they aren't it will make your life easier for them to not ask about compatches at all.

I have stumbled upon an issue and I was wondering if you guys have had the problem before and possibly if you could point me in the right direction for it. I have the duel engine working with a variety of different mods for a while, but just recently I tried to do a LAN game with it and it didn't work at all. Well, it tried to work but it kept de-syncing the game and the duel event outcomes were quite strange. Stuff like I'd get into a combat duel and kill someone who I wasn't at war with but I believe was the target of the other human player in the game. The tournaments stopped ending (where in single player they were) and about 1/3 of the world's men were Drunkards because of it. I had duel events that no matter which option I chose it kept popping up another round and eventually I was maimed/wounded/ill but the event wouldn't kill me.

Anyway, is there something with the duel events file that is using a global variable and is it possible that I could retrofit a scoped variable depending on which player is the appropriate one? I'm willing to do some legwork and post results but I'm having trouble figuring out where to start with the code. TIA.

Thanks, I think this will help. Considering that a tournament can last 3 or 4 months it would be possible for the players to end up with conflicting tourneys early on. Once I did my tourney, I was never able to do another one during that game even when switching to a new king. I kept getting jousts, and sometimes my joust opponents would be underage. Like when Count Oswyn defeated me and he was only 8 years old; I refer to him as Oswyn the Destroyer even though the game didn't give him that nick. hehe.

I'll see what I can come up with.

Not directly. Events and modifiers should work, you can use the DE files there. It will revert some of the CK2+ stuff back to vanilla but that's harmless to the mod overall.
Do not use the DE's on_actions, instead use CK2+'s and manually add the battlefield duel item "200 = 5556000 # Battlefield Duel" under on_combat_pulse.

No updates yet as I'm still without my main PC. At least my motherboard and videocard are fried so probably my RAM is busted as well. I just hope I can salvage my HDDs with all my data, I've been neglecting backups.

I know I'm late to the party, but I've also encountered the blank decision bubble bug. I'm using this mod in conjunction with the Prince and the Thane, and a few days in (in-game time) I get a decision that pops up which just says "ENGLISH", with no way to click out of it. Kind of a relief that I'm not the only person experiencing this issue.
