The best part of M&B Warband is the multiplayer part which the standard M&B doesn't have. So nobody should buy the standard M&B anymore if they could buy Warband instead.

So Warband is basically just the original, plus more stuff? Because I was wondering if there was any reason to get the original since it goes on sale all the time with one or the other cheaper and I never knew the difference between them.

Used to be that the original game had all the mods, and warband had all the new stuff. Now the mods are ported, and all the original game has is that it is on sale more often than warband..

I got the old school sniper achievment. 6.0+ shot with a crossbow. I had started a battle and ran foward a little bit, and randomly looked up in the air and fired crossbow. about four seconds later the achievment came up and i got a kill lol.

Well I can't get any achievements because the new patch continually crashes my game :mad:

Is this with the newest version 1.131, because they fixed CTD problems from the earlier patch...

I did notice that the option to reject a fief and insist on the abolition of the hierarchical state was missing from the dialogue options

But what really has me pissed is not being able to play this game for more than two minutes without it crashing. 1.27 was fine but now I can't enter a town, kill someone in a battle, or start a new game without my machine crashing. Which is not fun

Weird. I had that problem with 1.27, but now with the newest patch it's fixed.

Many small adjustments here and there, characters run faster...

I wonder if there is real direction behind all of it. For example, some soldiers got stuck at the top of the ladder in 1.127. In 1.131, they jump off like springboxs to go round that.

The whole issue seems to revolve around the way the board lives as the auto resolution mode went through many different balances.
1.127 was favourable to the player in the way it was possible to score a 0 kill with a 120 against a 20 army. 1.131 removes this and there are casualties.

Reversely, the battles between the manhunters and outlaws no longer always end with the manhunters becoming prisoners of the outlaws. Of course, they still dont stand their ground against sea raiders but they can capture people.

My concer is that at the present version, some features present at release are simply no longer. I expect the developpers to be able to reintroduce them before working on the next iteration.
