So many cool ideas already! Hmm, the poll only accepts 25 options :D We might have to do many of those...

While I hate to be overly snarky, it must be said. Instead of asking us to shell out more cash for DLC, some of us would appreciate a little more effort from the developers to fix the glaring bugs that make the game that we already paid for virtually unplayable. These issues have been discussed in numerous threads on this forum, including the constant crashes and hung screens on Mac, incredibly slow performance even on brand new high-end machines, slow and stuck scrolling around the map, irrational AI behavior when citizens select routes, cross-traffic constantly blocking intersections, not responding to support tickets for days, etc...

I realize DLC makes money and I'm happy to support developers by buying quality content packs, but certainly I'm not going to pay for DLC when the basic game is completely useless to me and we can't even get replies to support tickets about crashes that make it impossible to progress.

The bug reports should go to the tech forum and we will answer you and work on those as fast as we can. If the game is unplayable for you, please post about it to the appropriate thread on the tech support. Please remember that the bugs need coding work and the vehicles are made by artists. So the new vehicles are not away from our programmer's time :)

Ya I vote for the solaris Urbino type buses those are cool. Personally I think the double articulated bus doesn't do so well in game. (Way too long for bus stops.)

I'm surprised, there's not an articulated legend - Ikarus 280
ikarusek.jpg

I saw a suggestion of Tatra T4... Yeah, I vote for it too, maybe more for the normal, more common version - Tatra T3

Or you can make Tatra KT8D5 - czech bi-articulated bi-directional tram

Nice metro train would be "81-71" from Russia which is still used in many countries:

Translohr

Hello Everybody,

I suggest to insert in the nex release the Translohr, wich is an half trolleybus - half tram, because is a tram which uses rubber tyres, but goes only on a special well-defined track made by just one rail in the middle of the lane. Maybe could be also a great opportunity to implement in the next releases the trolleybus!

The photo is of a Translohr which operates in Padova (Padua), Italy. Look well, there aren't two rails!

I'm gonna pick ones that are or where in my local area known as Liverpool, United Kingdom starting with one from history and its a train that was running from 1883 until the mid 1950's and the line was called the Dockers Umbrella which served all the major docks in Liverpool through to other towns and was the first Electric Railway in the Country. One car was saved and is being shown in the Museum of Liverpool. I know the game doesn't go that far back but the rolling stock used was brilliant, details can be found here http://www.liverpoolmuseums.org.uk/mol/galleries/portcity/overhead/

Another train which is currently being used on Mersyrail is the 507 and 508's which I think where introduced in the 70's or 80's.

Now for a bus or two

First is the Wright bodied Volvo B10L which I love, they are comfortable and fast.

stagecoach-21071-r871lhg-liverpool-mar06.JPG

Now two classics which are similar from when I was a little nipper

I've picked a lot of old ones and a few current ones so I think one more current one will do, this one is a environment friendly one but worries me a bit when you get a driver who's accelerator happy as these things are little pocket rockets.

I think most of these are really good and would be happy with at least one in some dlc but naturally I would want them all ha

I really like these sugestions for the new vehicles and I'm going to spend some time later tonight looking at the differernt links but I have to say the Merseryrail train gets my vote or one of them (if I can vote for more than one thing?) since they serve Chester from Liverpool and the Merseyrail trains can carry a good load of standing as well as seated passengers so good at clearing stations of crowds.

I like the idea of the steam trains and the idea of the car ferry as a car ferry would bring in more cash from cross river passengers. I've just had a look at some pictures on my photobucket account and I'm wondering what you all would think of these:

Thbb-Liverpoolpics012.jpg

First of we have the Yellow duck tours floating bus/boat in Liverpool these are a tour bus on the road and a boat for tours around the Albert dock.

That one could be good for routes if you wanted it to run as a combination ferry and road bus so you could serve ferry terminals on part of the route then have it come out of the water to complete the road based section of the route.

I've also found a picture of one of the old Crossville Cymru buses that used to run from Chester and serve towns and villages in and around North Wales:

StHelensMuseum014.jpg

At some point it would be good to have a bus in the colours of the old Chester Corporation buses that were operated by the former City Council

StHelensMuseum006.jpg

I’ve got a picture of one of the Chester City Transport double deck buses a front view and side view but I need to find that and scan it in.

They no longer run in real life but it would be good to be able to have them running in my cim version of Chester.

I like some of the other trams and buses everyone has shared on the thread. As any of those would make the game more enjoyable.
