Hi all, I want to imput my opinion and ideas for a better diplomatic variety.

First of all I'd like the loans system fixed, I'd really like to be able to own the whole of Europe money. I mean, be a international banker! Hahaha, there must be a way to make the AI be finantially responsible and not just be a CB button as I've read.

Talking about money, if there is an inflation system why can't we print more money? Well not print, but mint I guess, but the thing is: "Mint 500 Ducats for a 5% Inflation" I'd be a way of getting cash fast instead of going for a loan, it would be quite historical, and realistic.

About full diplomatic actions I miss, when you win a war: "(A) will give (B) (X%) of its Manpower a year untill the end of the truce." I think it was something used in history, not sure but almost sure it happened. A nation would intake thousands of kids of the nation it wared before to make up its own manpower. I think it would be so good...

Another cool diplomatic action could be to impose a limit force to a nation, of course if the nation accepts it is not hardcoded, I mean, for example Prusia was enforced to a 45K limit I think... If you (In the game) don't honor the deal, the nation wins a Casus Belli, or you lose prestige or legitimacy, I don't know... I think it would add a lot to the game, for example as Spain I go to north africa and subyugate all those nations, I enclose them so they don't expand or attack each other, and I'd really like to impose my conditions: "Don't have more that 10K Army" so that I don't have to war them each 5 years so they don't grow an army big enough to be fearsome.

Another thing I'd like is to have the IA have some common sense when declaring war comes into place, for example... I'm 200 in relations with hungary, I'm allied with them, austria is allied with them too, I declare war to austria, and hungary forgets they ****** love me and war me. I think a more dimplomatic action should be added, like don't know... They could stay neutral to honor our friendship...

Thats all for now I guess. Thank you if you read it, sorry for my english I'm not english-native.

LOVE THIS GAME :D

The
peace negotiation should get some more love. I still don't know why I can't demand ships of a Nation. You can sell ships to another Nation but you can't demand ships from a Nation. It would be a good addition to the current options for peace agreement.

I would prefer to have an action to sap a specific relation between two nations. Yes you can get the idea to sabotage the reputation of a nation but that is a general action where the result can be anything or nothing.

Yeah, why can't we demand ships?
I see the diplomatic actions interface one of the most complex of all games, why can't we just have the best diplo interface of all times? We want the best, for the best game. :3

and be able to demand to demolish of a fortress(es) instead of taking it or cede a province but with the condition of demolishing the fortress. there are several historical examples. this would definitely add a lot of flavor into the game.
