It was my understanding that they were religious groups. However, the Lux Invicta mod has both of those as religions as well as a Syro-Aramaean culture.

Below is a Tocharian/Kushan/Hephthalite namelist I compiled below. There were a couple of Tocharian namelists from earlier, but I was unsatisfied with them so I made my own. The Tocharians were the eastermost branch of the Indo-Europeans, and the Kushans were a branch of them who were Persianized and Indianized; the Hephthalites, while probably of non-Tocharian origin (though not necessarily), were assimilated heavily into the Kushans/Tocharians, so I figured it's appropriate to have them in.
The namelist includes those of rulers, some of their vassals and surbordinates, as well as the names of a few lesser nobility and commoners/merchants mentioned in relevant historical and religious sources. Female names do include a few words appropriate for names, since otherwise the list would be pretty small. As some of you may notice, the list has a number of Persian and Indian names due to the influence the Persians and Indians had on the Kushans and Hephthalites, and even the Tocharians in their homeland.

Here is my list of native Copto-Egyptian names. I figured I'd try to help modders who make mods revolving around the Roman period find native Copto-Egyptian names rather than Greek names or names from earlier periods of Egyptian history. In this list they are written using their proper Copto-Egyptian pronunciation (with the correct pronunciation that was used before the Coptic language reform) rather than their Arabized version. These names are not Christian names but some of them have a religious connotation like "Son of God", "Slave of God", "From Anubis", "From Horus". Despite the polytheistic origins of certain names they were and are still used by Coptic Christians and even some Muslims, although today only the Arabized versions of these names are used.
The list is quite meager but it's more historically accurate than using names from earlier/later periods of Egyptian history. I will attempt to add more names later when I find more time. As I said in the other thread, I tried to avoid using Coptic names that weren't native as it is my understanding that it was mostly the clergy that used Greek names and these were names that they adopted later in life whereas the rest of the population would mostly use native names. It is a relatively new phenomenon for Copts in Egypt to use Western names like Morcos, Mikhael, Kyrollos etc. Even the popes didn't actually have Greek names but they were names that they adopted afterwards, like Pope Tawadros, his real name is in fact Wagih Ṣubḥi Baqi Suleiman and Pope Kyrillos' real name is Azer Youssef Atta.

Hey, I'm working on a hodgepodge culture for Norsemen invading Pomerania/Poland/Bohemia and settling down there.
I'll post an initial list of names; after some feedback, I'll post a full culture entry. Also, I am uncertain what to call it. Nordvind, Norsevind?
In naming, I've dropped Eth and Thorn as well as any accented vowels beside Å Ä Ö (and I'm too unfamiliar with these vowels to use anything but Ö for -björn). Havent picked up Z, so Zdislaw would be like Sjidisleif. I used a lot of short-and-easy names at first from both the Norse and Pom/Pol/Boh cultures, then started throwing in longer names ending in Norse -björn and a lot with Slavic -slav which I've Norsified to -leif. Some of the Sagas mention kings like Boleslaw and Yaroslav, and those Icelandic scholars change it to Burisleifr and Jarisleifr respectively. I chose to Norsify Slavic roots rather than Slavify Norse roots, basically for personal playstyle. Then I started combining random Norse and Norsified-Slavic prefixes and suffixes for stuff like Kasibjörn (Bear destroyer, hell yeah), Sjidisbjörn, Valdemund, Jaromund, Mistibrand, Lutger.
Not perfect, but it gets the job done for me as soon as I get a name for it that I like.
