The Aberrant and Vehement are already in the game. They're reskinned Unbidden that appear if the originals get too big/stick around for too long.

I am sorry. I actually searched for "new crisis" but have not found anything. But it is a nice clickbait isn't it? Pity I get no Money for it.

Its ok clickbait, its not "make 20k a month from your computer" but its ok.
For those actually looking for a new crisis, the Leviathan Events Xtended mod adds several events/enemies that could qualify.
I give PD community enough credit to spot it without additional hints.
Oh, here it is. I was beginning to wonder if someone would open another thread about it this week.
The 2 new names are just the 2 Unbidden factions that follow the original ones in if you take too long to finish of the original ones. The original Ubidden are blue, the Unbarren are green and a weird name one was orange (?). You'd have to let the Unbidden sit around for a LONG time before they appear. Time enough to conquer the whole galaxy, before the second one even appears!
Not always. I think it's random... I had the Aberrant show up on the far side of the galaxy a few years after the unbidden once.
Well I guess its based on mean time then. I had the Unbidden fester on the opposite side of the galaxy in one of my earliest 1.2 playthroughs for several centuries before the green or red ones showed up and declared war on both of us.
If i remember correctly i read somewhere that the other extradimensional Factions appear earlier when there are more psi jump drives used in the galaxy...
so if in the whole galaxy just one empire has the tech and uses it only for a really small fleet, the other extradimensionals will need more time to arrive then in a galaxy where nearly everyone has psi jump drives and uses them excessive
