Being disappointed I understand. Demanding extras? What's with that? If you want the game badly enough that a week's delay upsets you, surely you don't need anything added on top of it. If the game is not enough to make you happy, why does waiting a bit longer bother you?
This sounds quite heavy handed. What's wrong with asking for extras? Assuming that the original poster had pre-ordered, I would assume that he, like me, pre-ordered on the basis of, amongst others, the fact that CKII will be out on 7 February. Sure, a week's delay isn't a huge deal for most of us but this may be an issue for him. Asking for extras could just be his way of seeking compensation for the delay he has to put up with. I am sure there is something in the fine print that says that the release date is tentative and subject to change but the 7 February release date has been there for some time now with no indication that this would be changed.
Wanting the game badly enough that it upsets a person surely does not preclude him asking for extras as a form of compensation? Presumably any extras received would go some way to making him less upset. I mean it is one thing if the release had to be delayed because bugs needed to be fixed but its quite another where the sole purpose of the delay seems to be a marketing play. The latter is certainly understandable from a commercial perspective but I can see why this would upset a gamer who has been waiting a while for this.
Ultimately, it boils down to this, a one week delay may not mean much to you but it may to others so asking for stuff as compensation is well within his rights and honestly speaking, quite understandable. Of course, there is no way Pdox would give anything extra for a one week delay which they undoubtedly think is justified but still, the man can ask.
