Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning = February 10th
The Darkness II = February 10th
Well I have to play Jagged Alliance: Back in Action then until 14th.
But you could release the game to the masses on 14th and distribute it to us, who are not as patient as the masses, by secrectly opening the pre-order download now? Couldn't you? Right?

Very sad but... it is additional time to read more scientific literature about the high and late Middle Ages. This will undoubtedly improve the gaming experience.
Oh man, I tell you one thing, get Kingdoms on an console. They capped the FoV at what I can guess is around 60 on the demo, and it gave me motion sickness and a slight headache. And I dont get that normally.

Very disappointing. How does pushing the release back a week give you guys more exposure or are you guys still working things out with steam?
Very disappointed as i've been eagerly anticipating this.I hope this means an extra week of development though, to lessen the bugs, but if it's just sitting there i'll be a bit annoyed.
because the 14th will be a day focused only on CK2 rather then various titles I imagine Flatstuff, also, I don't really mind it's just a extra week, don't see what the fuss is about.

My personal feeling tells me that I rather have it sooner than later, but if we look at the big picture and this might help generate more gamers and income, then a week is a little price to pay.

Its not that hard a marketing call when you have loyal players.
I would however like a chance to try a demo or play "before" official release if you preordered, I have seen that in many other games.

The fact that its valentines means that there will be less people who will be playing on release. I can't really think of any titles which are released on the 7th and market strategy is to be ahead of the release of competing games. So it doesn't make much sense in terms of marketing. Also the 14th is the release of Mass Effect 3. That isn't going to be good on first week sales.
