I am playing Vae Victis with the latest patch (2.32).
This is a bug that really only affects modders, but I imagine it's easy to fix so here goes: If you add new buildings to the buildings.txt file, they will work perfectly (with some interface adjustments needed) except in one regard: They do not load properly in a save game.
For example, let's say I add a new building called barracks. I build barracks in province 139 (Epirus) that already has temple and fort1. I save the game. In the save game, under the Epirus entry, it will now show:
temple=yes
fort1=yes
barracks=yes
This indicates the building saved correctly. However, when resigning and reloading the save, the barracks has disappeared from Epirus. If I save again, the barracks line still appears in the save, but its misplaced (further down in the province entry). It seems something is failing in loading the save.
I've also tried fully quitting instead of resigning, and it has the same issue. I realize this probably isn't priority to fix, but since the game DOES support more than the default buildings, it'd be great if this little fix could be done for us modders.
