The dutch revolt is successful events

Just noticed this thing:

The "Dutch revolt is successful", which removes revoltrisk from lowlands and converts Flandern has a trigger of "Dutch Nobility Demands General Estates" having happened, which sounds fine... Except that it always refers to Burgundy's corresponding event. For the french, spanish, english and austrian versions of the "Dutch revolt is successful" event too. So if the game ain't going very unhistorically and also very unlikely, it's never gonna happen for anyone.

Check for yourself: Events 3932 (England), 3933 (France), 3934 (Austria) and 3935 (Spain) all say that they require event 3864 to have happened. And 3864 is the burgundian version of the "Dutch Nobility Demands General Estates".

Thus the only version of this event is 3931, which happens for Burgundy. Others should be adjusted so that they would have their own "Dutch Nobility Demands General Estates" - events instead as triggers. Event 3868 for England, event 3325 for France, event 3191 for Austria and event 3159 for Spain.

Did other countries have dutch revolt events too? If they do, they should be checked too.

Please post what you think about this and if this is clearly a problem and not something that is "working as intended" then it could be transferred to Bug Reporting?

If it is to be changed (and I'm really not sure it should be or that it doesn't work as intended right now), the consequences must be really carefully considered. Note that there are two events that can decrease revolt risk in the Dutch provinces - one is "The Dutch Revolt is successful", which we quote and which happens if the Netherlands formed, the other is "The Repatriation of the Netherlands", which happens otherwise. The latter is triggered by English/French etc version of Dutch Nobility Demands General Estates, the former is triggered by Burgundian version for all countries.

It is true that - as you write - if the game is going in such a way that Dutch Nobility Demands General Estates didn't happen to Burgundy, then The Dutch Revolt is successful! event will not happen to any of the relevant countries, but the revolt risk in the Netherlands will still go down, because in such a case The Repatriation of the Netherlands will kick in.

If the triggers are to be changed to the national events rather than Burgundian ones, then two fixes are probably needed: one is updating the number of Dutch Nobility Demands General Estates, the other is updating the number of Repatriation of the Netherlands events. As it is now, all countries have Burgundian events listed as triggers there (#3864 and #3900, respectively).

It's a bug alright. Every nation's version of that event should have the relevant events of its own as triggers, not Burgundy's.

That's the new event. The old event, repatriation one looks to be just fine to me, it uses teh relevant nation's events as triggers, not Burgundy's.

3900 is a Dutch event.

Good catch btw, it's a bad bug.

Yes, good one. Updated ENG, FRA, SPA and HAB "Dutch Revolt Successful" events to trigger on each country's respective Dutch Nobility Demands General Estates event, not the BUR one. Thanks!
